What an interesting read........... On Jeopardy the other night, the final question asked: “How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the Tomb of the Unknown?” All three contestants missed it. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier 1. How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the Tomb and why? He takes 21 steps — symbolizing the 21-gun salute, the highest military and foreign tribute. 2. How long does he pause before turning to walk back and why? He waits 21 seconds, again in honor of the same tradition. 3. Why are his gloves damp? They are lightly moistened to ensure he never loses his grip on his rifle. 4. Does he keep his rifle on the same shoulder, and if not, why? He always carries it on the shoulder farthest from the Tomb. After each crossing, he performs an about-face and moves it to the outside shoulder. 5. How often are the guards changed? Every 30 minutes, 24/7, 365 days a year. 6. What are the physical requirements for a Tomb Guard? Applicants must be between 5'10" and 6'2" and have a waist no larger than 30". Other expectations of the Guard: They devote two years to the Tomb, live in the barracks beneath it, and must refrain from drinking alcohol on or off duty for the rest of their lives. They can never swear in public or dishonor the uniform or the Tomb. After two years, they earn a wreath pin signifying their service — fewer than 400 are currently worn. If they violate the code, they must relinquish the pin. Their shoes have thick soles to protect against extreme temperatures and metal heel plates that create the crisp click when they halt. Uniforms must have zero wrinkles or lint and are inspected in a full-length mirror. For the first six months, guards do not speak to anyone and do not watch television. Their off-duty time is spent studying the 175 notable individuals buried at Arlington National Cemetery, memorizing who they are and where they rest. Among them: President Taft, Joe E. Lewis, and Audie Murphy, the most decorated WWII soldier. Every guard spends five hours daily preparing their uniform. ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM, O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM. When Hurricane Isabel approached Washington, D.C. in 2003, Congress shut down for two days. The guards were offered permission to suspend duty due to danger. They replied: “No way, Sir!” Drenched and marching through the storm, they insisted that guarding the Tomb is the highest honor, not just a task. The Tomb has been continuously guarded — day and night — since 1930. God Bless and Keep Them I don’t often encourage sharing posts, but I would be honored if this one reached as many people as possible. We should always feel proud of the men and women who serve, wherever they are stationed. Duty – Honor – Country IN GOD WE TRUST — with Herbert F Wieland.

Some claims in this post are inaccurate. The Society of the Honor Guard says the Tomb has been guarded since 1937, the guard changes hourly in winter, sentinels can drink off duty, and there is no lifetime ban on alcohol or swearing. tombguard.org/society/faq leadstories.com/hoax-alert/202…

I find it interesting that Democrats aren’t running against the Republican candidates who oppose them. They’re running against DJT. The problem with that strategy is that DJT does not run Michigan. I haven’t heard a single Democrat explain how they will move Michigan forward. In every category used to measure states, Michigan ranks near the bottom. Facts don’t lie. Over the last eight years, our state has been in free fall: higher taxes, lower employment, lower pay, lower test scores for our kids—the list goes on and on. I’m a conservative, no doubt. I’m also a realist. Results matter more than party. Results matter more than personality. I don’t care who the president is. Michigan is failing, and it has been under Democratic leadership for eight years. Of course, people will say it’s Matt Hall’s fault or DJT’s fault. But if you’re honest with yourself, that is not the case. Our current leaders have no vision for Michigan. They entice voters with free stuff, class warfare, and promises that border on the ridiculous. In this election, I want you to vote for Michigan and its future. Remember, free stuff isn’t free. Class warfare can mean fewer jobs and less money to do the things that matter. And remember that 46 other states in America are doing better than Michigan under their current leaders.

@jonfavs it is all self-inflicted by abdul. When initially asked he gave multiple various answers such as "yeah, sure"," I condemn "it" then add his inflated and misrepresented claims on his work history like he cleared $300 million in medical debt which was significantly less! Then his mis characterization of being a doctor (4 week internship, never practiced or licensed) which he used to secure a health department job wear the employer had to hire a babysitter because " technically he wasn't qualified. Continuing to represent himself as as a physician, which is illegal in Michigan, erased large parts of his online history, has been taking 9K/months of taxpayers money while campaigning using mobs of his "people to harass, intimidate and threaten other democrats at their state convention to the point that leading figures declined to attend. Complains about rogers tactics that he used in the primary against Stevens many moderate democrats not only across the state but across the nation saying his viewpoints are extreme evidence of money laundering of foreign money thru ACT BLUE. and I haven't even mentioned anything about M.B. IF YOU CANT see a pattern in this and how he only gives " slogans" for his "plans completely ignoring giving answers on how to pay for it. Not to mention "owe it to them" for OPEN BORDERS, NON ANSWERS FOR genital mutilation ( Jesse are you circumcized? Fox news) really has anything I've said here sound racist or have I shown a PATTERN???

‼️‼️‼️As a Somali speaker let me translate the song. This is a very VIOLENT song she put over her video… “I will wipe the floor with my enemies. I will crush them under my boot. I will put them in graves”. This is no laughing matter it is a coded message and a dog whistle to her Somalian followers to get ready for violence‼️‼️‼️ 😲😲😲

This is John Eisenman. He lost his daughter to sexual trafficking. She was sold for $1,000 in Seattle Washington. He did what a father should do and researched, investigated and found out about her abduction. He RESCUED her HIMSELF. He found out the person who sold her into trafficking was her 19 year old boyfriend. He met up with him, abducted him, bludgeoned and stabbed him to death in Nov, 2020. The authorities found him [dead AF boyfriend] in Oct 2021 in the trunk of the car he abandoned. John Eisenman sits in jail knowing his daughter is safe and growing up after he has already lived 60 years of his life. I bet you, he rests easy. Live your life to the fullest. Do your absolute best to make sure your children have the opportunity to do the same no matter what the sacrifice. I will be sending John some commissary money. I hope he gets to see freedom with his daughter one day. Does he deserve a medal 🏅?

Eisenman's assertion that the victim sex-trafficked his daughter is not corroborated by police, and Eisenman admitted that he was intoxicated with meth when he killed his daughter's former boyfriend. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/m… kxly.com/news/crime/spo…

Make this go viral for those in the state of Michigan that are Democrat and don't want to vote for Abdul this is a legal solution explained by the clerk of Macomb County on mixed ticket voting
In this video, I explain how “cross-over” voting is allowed, even if you are voting straight party ticket.   Did you know in Michigan it is legal to   - Vote Straight Party ticket and then - FILL IN THE BUBBLE for someone of another party you like better?   There are three portions of the ballot:   - Partisan - Non-partisan - Ballot proposals   For example, if you vote straight party ticket for Democrats but decide “hey, I like Anthony Forlini on the Republican side for Secretary of State” you can:   1. Vote Straight Party Ticket for Democrats and 2. Go fill in the bubble for Anthony Forlini and that cancels out the Democrat nominee for SOS and gives Anthony your vote     Please make sure you vote, and please vote in all three portions of your ballot!

I want a Senator who can easily say that the Iranian regime, which murdered 50,000 protestors and thousands of Americans is OUR ENEMY with no ifs, ands, or buts. That is Mike Rogers. Retweet if you agree.

El-Sayed is lying about his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The Democratic Senate hopeful is running as the most thinly veiled Trojan horse in American political history—on behalf of the Brotherhood and the Islamism it embodies. dailysignal.com/2026/10/17/a…

Here's what I guess El-Sayed would call "hearsay." Except that it isn't. It is the lived experience of a teacher in Bloomfield Hills when El-Sayed's stepmother, Dr. Jacqueline El-Sayed, who raised him, served on the school board. This is from a public post on Facebook/Meta: ". . . .this man does not try to hide who he is. I taught while he was a student in Bloomfield Hills schools. His mother sat on the school board, and because of her, we were not allowed to speak about 9/11 with students. We could offer a moment of silence and then were mandated to move on with our lesson plan (which had to be unrelated to the terrorist attacks). She said it would make Muslim students uncomfortable if teachers talked about what happened that day. . . " facebook.com/fawn.chayet/pos…

In the wake of the Mike Rogers, Abdul El-Sayed debate, @PeterMeijer on CNN NewsNight calls out El-Sayed: “I can't understand how somebody who's that politically smart has not fixed their position is when he was asked who's the greater danger to America, Israel or Iran. Three times he was asked that he refused to answer. Afterwards, he said that's a dumb question, and he was right. It is a dumb question because the answer is so painfully easy. But he couldn't say that. He criticized Mike Rogers for asking him to condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, saying they're scary words, but he hasn't condemned them, and they are scary words because they've killed hundreds of 1000s of innocents, including 3,000 Americans three miles south of here. So at a certain point it goes from either this is political malpractice at the best, or he can't or he won't because of something deeper, and that is far more troubling. And I just I don't get it because I don't want to get it because it really is dark.” NARRATOR: It’s because El-Sayed is a terrorist sympathizer.
