You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously.
Struggling with UI Design? Don't know where to start or what are fundamental principles of building products users love?
Go no further! My man @DenisJeliazkov launched his Master UI Design ebook on @ProductHunt today. I can't recommend it enough: producthunt.com/posts/master…
We live
on a battlefield,
you and me.
Betrayed, broken, and forgotten –
left behind
to rot under a dying sky.

I've randomly found this gem on the internet today and I'm loving the initiative. There are tons of books that get thrown away every year. Garbage collectors in Turkey decided to open a library from all the discarded books they have collected.

Life can be improved by adding, or by subtracting. The world pushes you to add, because that benefits them. But the secret is to focus on subtracting.

How to be productive:
- Don't schedule anything in the AM. Ever.
- All meetings in two afternoons a week.
- Use email or calls to replace most meetings.
- Keep emails under 5 sentences.
- Keep calls under 15 mins.
- Delete emails without responding.
- Take time to walk/think.

I've heard this great quote by @SusanDavid_PhD recently. She said:"Emotions are data. Not directions." We act based on how we feel. So many of our day to day actions are hijacked by emotions. By analyzing this data objectively, we can get out of unpleasant situations much faster.
What if instead of reading one book a week, you would read one book four times a month?
How much more information could you retain that way?
How many new things would you notice that you missed in your first, second, or third read through?
People who can't control their emotions, desires, and needs at this critical moment and continue spending time in crowded places (seaside, social events, etc.) will be the same people who will complain six months from now about why the situation we're in hasn't changed.
Have you ever desired to change the world?
Now you can, and you are, whether you're conscious about it or not.
Your actions today will shape the world we're all going to live in tomorrow.

If you’re not content in this moment, no amount of success, whatever that means for you, will bring it to you.
Geniune happiness is not a future destination you arrive to, nor is a causation of any external force.
Happiness is an internal state that is omnipresent.

Career tests won’t tell you what you were born to do.
Standardized tests won’t tell you how smart you are.
Personality tests won’t tell you who you are.
The only reliable method is to abandon all methods and find out for yourself.
School teachers should have one of the most prestigious (and paid) jobs as they're the ones that develop the future of humanity.
Similarly, schools should have high standards for employing teachers – annual skill reviews to check they're up to date with new methods/discoveries.
Simple yet profound question:
Have you ever wondered how seemingly unconscious matter such as water or rocks turned into living organisms?
What formula of chemicals (if any) caused such a radical shift in consciousness?
Want to get back control of your life? Change the neurochemistry (gratification source) by focusing on results instead of seeking approval from others.
