Pleased to premiere my new advert for @Shell in which I play CEO Ben Van Beurden repeatedly shitting out of his mouth.

I like your response Sam

Yes, thank you to the author
Always help someone. You may be the only one who does.

Oh, I don’t try to hide my weird. I like to wave it around. It scares off the boring people and it’s like a beacon for my fellow weirdos.

My last post was May 2020. It is only now with the grief and health issues less intense, that I am ready to get back to work. I know how lucky I am, and journal my gratitude daily.
My Dad passed away several months ago. Even as a Counsellor, the bad days still surprise me - they creep up shouting, 'I'm still here love'. So I say that's ok, you can come in for a while but don't unpack your not staying! I'll put the kettle on, tissues are by there...

Big shout out today to Sainsburys click and collect you have made this lady very happy with another slot. And also to Plusnet and Open reach for getting our wi-fi back on. I will remember you loyally when this is all over!

Lost our Dad recently after a very short illness. He left no instructions so we are literally 'winging' it. Reminds me how important it is to talk to the living to discuss death. Rather than feel it's horrible to broach, morbid, sad etc, lets all find it as natural as breathing.

A purely creative day today. A day to get out of uniform, into comfies and create, throw a way the plan and create some more.

Making huge changes to the way I think about practice. Change management starts with me, so right now I am under new management!

Looking forward to actually being physically there to host this event a week Saturday. Come along, have a taster of therapy, a reading, a browse around the stalls or just a cup of tea and a catch up. See you there... facebook.com/kat.marriott.7/…
Ruminating over whether I would stop counselling as a session as other complementary therapies were more popular. But having seen a few counselling clients over these last few weeks I realised how much I have missed it. Note to self - balance is everything in therapy and life.

If you have a broken limb you put it in a cast to rest and recover. Therapy does that for the mind, and yet we still deny ourselves rest & recovery.
