J just showed me the Angela Rayner interview about tax evasion. The fact that @AngelaRayner has had to go on the TV, and disclose this level of her personal life, the details of her child’s injuries and disabilities, teenage pregnancy, divorce proceedings, and court orders just to answer a media mobbing (who have been gunning for her since Day 1) is absolutely sickening. This is why working class people don’t survive in politics. This is what would happen to any of us. You’re all fine with upper middle class MPs making millions, hiding money in offshore accounts, taking dodgy payments and backhanders, messing with contracts, stocks, shares - but sure, let’s drag and humiliate this one woman for being given incorrect advice on stamp duty because of a complex living arrangement? Where was this rage for Sunak? Osbourne? Rees-Mogg? Boris? Those dudes pocketed SO MUCH CASH and everyone was sorta like ‘well, that’s what they do, they can do that, they’re rich!’ GTFOH - do you want working class normal everyday people in politics representing you, or not? Make your mind up. So embarrassing.

While Tory MPs chase fare dodgers around for a few quid, billions in wasteful PPE spending is being uncovered. Perhaps if Robert Jenrick wants to catch who's really robbing the country blind, he should look within.

So @Jeremy_Hunt tries to downplay Brexit’s impact on trade, citing Policy Exchange’s claim that UK exports are near record highs. But they’re measuring in value, not quantities—conveniently ignoring inflation. Fewer goods, higher prices. That’s not growth, it’s spin. #BrexitReality Jeremy Hunt claims Brexit is delivering for the UK—but where’s the proof? Food prices up, farmers struggling, and trade down. Time for honesty: Brexit has failed. #SaveBritishFarming independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho…

These figures are utterly damning. Every 4 weeks of delay in cancer treatment increases the risk of death by up to 10%. For @wesstreeting & @NHSEngland to have scrapped the target to diagnose 75% of cancers at stage 1 or 2 is simply scandalous.

Someone explain to me why my research into SEZs is getting hardly any traction anymore. Is it because it was OK to expose the Tories implementation of them, but when I found out that Labour were continuing this Tory policy, no one wants to know the truth all of a sudden? Help me out here.

Deregulated SEZs allow corporations to 'self-regulate' this means they can make up their own rules inside the zones separate from the host country. Deregulation inside free zones includes - Restrictions on workers' rights, below minimum wages, and appalling working conditions. SEZs are notorious for tax evasion, genral fraud, and money laundering, also drug/weapons trading. Profit share in SEZs is usually split 90/10 in favour of corporations, this unfairly sidelines public ownership (see Teesside) Each UK SEZ receives £160 million in State aid (public money) multiplied by 74 = £11 billion 840 million. SEZs violate people's collective sovereignty by replacing it with corporate sovereignty. SEZs can set up their own courts and private police security. SEZs are known to bypass domestic courts by invoking ISDS clauses whereby companies can sue governments for breach of contract, ISDS is a corporate justice system, that in itself is terrifying. SEZs are harmful to the environment as zero planning permission is needed, so developers can build cheap shoddy buildings/housing, SEZs are corporate playgrounds for private equity who can absorb collpased public services/assets within the zones. Availing cheap land in abundance is the most lucrative concession to the developers of SEZs, (see Teesside) UK SEZs range from 38 to 75km in diameter, all of the UK's 12 Freeports are housed in much larger SEZs, this is about future corporate expansion. Tax breaks for companies for 10 years. Licenses for 25 years. UK SEZs contravene EU laws on State aid where govts of member states are prohibited from giving public money to companies of their choosing, this creates distortions in markets and creates an unlevel playing field. The demise of SEZs was attributed to the effects of delays owing to European Commission State Aid regulations. Government requests for statistical information would be reduced. SEZs are about localised freedoms for corporations embedded with secondary legislation which means zero Parliamentary or public scrutiny. Food security in SEZs is at risk due to deregulation. A common argument against Enterprise Zones is that they result in job displacement rather than job creation – i.e., existing local companies relocate to enterprise zones to take advantage of financial incentives, keeping their existing workforce rather than firms from outside the area relocating and creating new jobs. A 2011 report by the Work Foundation found that “up to 80%” of jobs created by enterprise zones in the 1980s were in fact “taken from other places.” SEZs are unsustainable in the long-term and cost astronomical sums of public money to maintain. SEZs commonly attract companies seeking tax breaks. Jobs created in SEZs were found to be “overwhelmingly low skilled” and SEZs have been unsuccessful in attracting high-skilled economic activity. There is no evidence that SEZs improved the 'economic growth' goals espoused by the administrations backing them. researchbriefings.files.parl…

Deregulation on tap from Starmer's changed Labour Party, they are no different than the Tories. Corporate governance is coming as the absolute worst companies from around the globe like DP World, Blackrock, and Blackstone are given carte blanche to self-regulate inside the duopoly's 74 SEZs and 12 Freeports. The UK is being carved up into zones of exception from the host country's laws and regulations. Economies outside the zones will be forced to emulate the big companies as competition increases in an unlevel playing field. This is why Starmer says no rejoining the EU. All UK free zones contravene EU laws on State aid (public money). Companies chasing State aid in the zones are not looking at the long term, it is literally boom-and-bust. europarl.europa.eu/RegData/e… Understand that the corporate model of politics will replace social democracy, this is how SEZs operate via small acts of secession fragmenting the country into small govts with no interventionism from big govt. Free zones perforate holes in the fabric of the nation-state, once this takes hold, the entire country will be privatised. Of course @Guardian mention none of the above, you have to ask why? theguardian.com/politics/202…

Great to hear @EmilyThornberry was at @labour4europe rally and let rip 👏 “The Europeans are our friends and our allies and our neighbours and our relatives. They couldn’t be closer. They’re our biggest trading partner. It is all very well for the last government to be saying, ‘Oh, but it’s fine, we are going to go off, we are going to have a deal with CPTPP’ (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership). I am one of the few people in Britain could even say it, let alone understand what it was. What is the point in us having a fragile trade agreement across the other side of the world when we have spent our time dismantling a proper trade agreement that we have with our European friends and allies and neighbours?” independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

BREAKING Should 4 Tories be reported to police? Four Tory MPs made £5 MILLION selling taxpayer-funded homes but won't say if they paid capital gains tax @DailyMirror 🔹One Tory MP sold his property in London making an estimated profit of £2m. 🔹 BUT from 2004 to 2009 he claimed £106,745 in mortgage payments from Parliament as a second home 🔹When he sold it, he was on the electoral register at that house AS WELL AS a second one in Billingshurst 🔹second homes need capital gains tax accounted for, for that period 🔹did he pay tax? Tories have reported Angela Rayner to the police and demanded her tax affairs be made public Is it time for Labour to report these Tories to police for the same reasons? After all what's sauce for the Tory goose... mirror.co.uk/news/politics/f…

And there you have it, what today's announcement was actually all about. Barratt Developments' share price up 3.43% this morning company now valued at £4.34bn and Taylor Wimpey up 2.88% company valued at £3.97bn. That's what happens when you get rid of environment regulations.

Dear Brits, strongly advise you start reading up on what SEZs are, this Govt are seceding entire regions of UK to private investors and it's happening fast. All over the world zone fever is erupting, Brexit🇬🇧is no exception. 75km zones around Sunak's Freeports are up for grabs.
