As we reported earlier in the year, CAA Eleven will no longer represent the rights. Having displaced TEAM for UEFA club rights, Relevent has now done the same to CAA Eleven.
𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Relevent lands Uefa national team rights In the first change of agency since centralisation 14 years ago, Relevent has won the exclusive mandate to sell Uefa men's national team commercial rights from 2028-29 to 2035-36, displacing CAA Eleven. The mandate covers media, sponsorship and licensing rights, including the 2032 and 2036 European Championships, the European Qualifiers and the Nations League.

I get the politics of needing to have all clubs involved if SPFL is going to put its name to it, but you’re always going to struggle with ticket sales in Glasgow with just one Celtic and Rangers game per session #TennentsSixes

Why does women's football coverage always have to be so gimmicky? It's the Champions League, not blue peter. Put some pundits who know about the teams in a studio, make sure the tech works and have a decent bit of time for build up and analysis to contextualise everything.
Did I miss the explanation of the dog in the UWCL studio? Why is there a dog in the studio? Help.

LIV Golf players have been sent an email from CEO Scott O’Neil with a communications toolkit with talking points in case they are approached by media. The talking points are: •This is an important step in LIV Golf’s transition to LIV Golf 2.0. •LIV Golf has real momentum toward a transaction.  •LIV Golf 2.0 is about building a more sustainable League for the long term.  Considering LIV Golf has just filed to reject the existing player contracts, this is quite a staggering thing to expect them to do.
LIV Golf players were told about the chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by a long message from CEO Scott O’Neil on a player group chat. Notably, Jon Rahm left that group chat on August 9th, before the final event was played. He is the only player to have done so apart from Danny Lee, who left after he was released by Korean GC months ago. Multiple players have confirmed that the figures owed in the chapter 11 filing correspond to quarterly “Player Participation Agreements” which were due to be paid in October, and are not the full value of their contracts. The most important part of the lengthy message from CEO Scott O’Neil is about these existing player contracts and it reads: “As part of this process, we will address the legacy contractual obligations of LIV Golf 1.0, including seeking court approval to reject existing player agreements. Our lawyers will be in court this week, and we will keep you updated as to when there is a decision from the Court. I want to emphasize that this is a procedural step and will move in parallel with your ongoing LIV Golf 1.0 negotiations.” I am yet to speak to a player who is committed to LIV Golf 2.0, but the rumour is the league are targeting a season opener in Mexico in February. Personally, from extensive sourcing, I think they will seriously struggle to fill the proposed field of 75 players. Multiple existing players have told me they are finished with the league.

When Craig Whyte owned Rangers, he made the brilliant decision to stop paying tax, sending the club into administration. So it’s awesome that he’s now providing consultancy on “how to protect assets from litigation and navigate the complex world of offshore structures”. 10/10 would recommend.
