2,185 validators. 39.7% fewer wrong head votes. Blocks seen 366 ms earlier. Measured on Blockdaemon's own fleet. Validators were customer one. Traders are next, and they price milliseconds a lot harder.
We've published our first individual operator case study with @BlockdaemonHQ, examining the effects of mump2p across 2,185 of their Ethereum mainnet validators. media.getoptimum.xyz/case-st…

~$8.3B TVB on mump2p already. Still one-engineer onboard. Glad The Defiant aired the Muriel chat.
For validators, latency is money. Faster, more predictable block propagation means less risk of missing deadlines, more time to build better blocks, and higher APY. That's what @get_optimum's mump2p brings to Ethereum, built on RLNC, the network coding tech co-invented at MIT by Optimum CEO & Co-Founder @MurielMedard Node operators can onboard for free → getoptimum.xyz Full conversation with @CamiRusso on The Defiant 🔗

The universal token standard for every type of asset on Bitcoin.
"Tokenization should be agnostic from the transport layer, but I think RGB could be a very good product for that." @paoloardoino on @stephanlivera's podcast, talking about tokenized securities and why peer-to-peer protocols like RGB can scale.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝘀 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗜, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? Most AI we interact with today works with information. It can write, answer questions, recognize images, and generate content. But physical AI takes things further by giving machines the ability to understand and interact with the real world. Think about a robot picking up a glass. It needs more than vision. It must understand grip strength, applied force, material properties, and how to avoid breaking it. That requires real-world experience and physical interaction data that includes vision, motion, force feedback, and task outcomes. This is the space 4D Labs @4Dlabs_Official is working to advance. Backed by YZi Labs, the project is building the real-world embodied data layer for physical AI. Through devices like its Ego Suite head-mounted capture systems and visual-tactile fusion technology, it turns everyday human actions into high-quality, verifiable training data for robots. Its pipeline covers capture, processing, world-model training, and distribution, with on-chain rights to ensure provenance. The future of AI won’t just be about what machines know, but also what they can do.

Total Value Boosted (TVB): ~$8.3B. That's 3.41M ETH, 7.8% of all staked ETH, now on mump2p. A week ago: 16 operators, ~22,000 validators. Onboarding is still one engineer, under an hour. No fork. No consensus change. TVB nobody was forced into compounds quietly.
One engineer. Under an hour. That's the whole mump2p onboarding. 16 node operators already did it, ~22,000 validators. It's free. Nobody wants to be the slow node ♾

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. When a payment provider handles 10,000 USDT transactions daily, even a small change in fees can affect its margins. You charge customers a small fee for each payment, and you already know how much it costs to process them. But there's a problem. Network activity increases, transaction costs change, and suddenly your payment expenses are higher than you expected. This makes planning difficult. You may have to adjust your prices, reduce your margins, or absorb the extra costs yourself. For a business processing thousands of payments, even small cost changes can make a big difference. This is why predictable transaction fees matter. A payment provider needs more than just fast transactions. It needs to know what each transaction will cost before processing it. This is one of the problems Utexo @utexocom is addressing with its USDT settlement infrastructure on Bitcoin. Through its API, Utexo offers configurable settlement fees that are defined upfront rather than fluctuating with network activity. That gives payment operators better control over their costs and makes it easier to plan their margins. And there's another important part of the equation. Utexo combines this payment infrastructure with Bitcoin and the Lightning Network, using RGB to support USDT transfers. The goal is to provide businesses with predictable settlement costs while benefiting from Bitcoin-based infrastructure. Because in payment systems, speed matters, low costs matter, but knowing what you'll pay also matters.

Some people noticed that @get_optimum Hub is showing weaker performance of 1.4× faster and 279 ms, compared to the earlier mainnet results of 3.3× faster and 145 ms. @kentlinyy explained that the dashboard was displaying incorrect numbers because of a calculation error. And the team checked the actual data from the last two days and found 127 ms on mump2p versus 360 ms on libp2p. This is about 2.8× faster. I also looked at the public metrics methodology. The gateways are collecting the correct data, but the dashboard was calculating it incorrectly. The important point is mump2p has not become slower. The problem was with how the dashboard displayed the numbers, not the actual network performance. So there is no reason to worry. mump2p is still performing significantly better than ordinary libp2p. We hired a trader. Not to trade. To tell us which milliseconds are worth paying for. Gary started in the NYMEX pit, then ran trading at B2C2, BlockTower and Stillman. Most infra gets built backwards. Gary starts from the P&L. Speed is money.
Meet Optimum's Crypto Trading and Markets Lead, Gary Pike! Speed is money in the trading world, and Gary knows firsthand from his time trading options in the NYMEX pit before making the jump to crypto in 2017. His crypto career includes Head of Trading roles at B2C2, Blocktower Capital, and Stillman Digital, with a focus on arbitrage and HFT strategies. Now he's leading the build out of Optimum's trading products, designing ways to get our ultra low-latency data delivery into the hands of traders. Bonus fun fact, Gary played college football for Nebraska, where he also got his degree in astrophysics.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗨𝘁𝗲𝘅𝗼 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗨𝗦𝗗𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 (𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) On most networks, every USDT transfer is public. Anyone can see the amount, the sender, the receiver, and the full history. Utexo @utexocom takes a different approach using RGB’s client-side validation. With RGB, the detailed payment information stays with the people involved in the transfer. The amount, counterparties, and history are not written to Bitcoin’s public ledger. Bitcoin only records a small cryptographic commitment that anchors ownership to a UTXO. Outsiders see what looks like an ordinary Bitcoin transaction. They do not see the USDT movement itself. There is no public transaction graph or visible balance for the stablecoin activity. This is privacy by design, not full anonymity. The receiver still gets the proof needed to verify the asset is valid. Utexo can also support compliance by blacklisting specific UTXOs linked to illicit activity, making them unredeemable without freezing addresses the way some other networks do. The result is simple: the payment stays between the parties, while Bitcoin continues to secure ownership and prevent double-spends. That is how Utexo keeps USDT private on Bitcoin.

𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗧𝗖 𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗻𝘀: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗡𝗼 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗹 Most Bitcoin-backed loans today require wrapping. You send your BTC to a custodian or bridge, receive a token like WBTC on another chain, and use that as collateral. The process works, but it adds risk. Because your Bitcoin is no longer under your sole control. You rely on the custodian’s solvency, operational security, and the integrity of the bridge. If anything goes wrong on that side, the collateral can be affected even if the original BTC is still safe. Utexo @utexocom is designed to let borrowers post native Bitcoin as collateral without that step. The Bitcoin stays on its existing network, anchored through the same UTXO model that secures ordinary transactions. There is no wrapping, no bridge, and no separate token representing the collateral. Ownership remains tied directly to Bitcoin, while the loan mechanics run through Utexo’s RGB-based infrastructure. This removes the main counterparty and smart-contract risks that come with wrapped assets. Borrowers do not need to trust a third party to hold their BTC for the duration of the loan. Lenders and platforms still get a collateral position secured by Bitcoin’s base layer rather than by a synthetic representation of it. For operators building lending products, the difference is practical. They can offer Bitcoin-backed loans without asking users to leave Bitcoin’s security model first. Native collateral keeps the risk profile simpler and closer to the asset users actually hold.
