Salted Caramel Apple Pie Bars 🍎 INGREDIENTS For the streusel: • ½ cup (43g) old-fashioned rolled oats • ⅓ cup (67g) packed brown sugar • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon • ¼ cup (31g) all-purpose flour • ¼ cup (56g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed For the shortbread crust: • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted • ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • ¼ teaspoon salt • 1 cup + 1 tablespoon (133g) all-purpose flour For the apple filling: • 2 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced (about 2½ cups or 315g) • 2 tablespoons (16g) all-purpose flour • 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg For topping: • Salted caramel sauce • Flaky sea salt, optional INSTRUCTIONS Preheat your oven to 300°F (149°C). Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy lifting. Make the streusel: Mix the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter or two forks until crumbly. Refrigerate while preparing the other layers. Make the crust: Stir together the melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add the flour and mix until combined. Press evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes, until lightly browned around the edges. Prepare the filling: Toss the sliced apples with the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated. Remove the crust and increase the oven temperature to 350°F (177°C). Arrange the apples tightly over the warm crust, pressing gently into an even layer. Sprinkle the chilled streusel over the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the streusel is golden brown. Let cool at room temperature for at least 20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up before slicing. Lift out using the parchment paper and cut into squares. Drizzle with salted caramel and add a little flaky sea salt, if desired. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days

Juicy Korean Barbecue Meatballs Serves: 4 | Prep: 20 min | Cook: 20 min Ingredients For the meatballs: 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness) or a beef-and-pork blend 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs 1 egg 3 tbsp whole milk (to soak the panko) 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated 2 tbsp gochujang 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp toasted sesame oil 2 green onions, finely sliced 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp oil for searing For the Korean BBQ glaze: 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp gochujang 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp mirin (or 1 tsp extra honey) 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated 1 tsp toasted sesame oil 1/2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water For the creamy sauce (the drizzle in the photo): 1/4 cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt 1 tbsp gochujang 1 tsp honey 1 tsp rice vinegar 1 clove garlic, grated Pinch of salt For garnish: Sliced green onions Toasted sesame seeds Steamed rice, for serving Instructions 1. Make the meatballs Soak the panko in the milk for 5 minutes until softened. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, soaked panko, egg, garlic, ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands just until everything comes together — overmixing makes them dense and bouncy instead of tender. Roll into 16-18 meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches each. Wet your hands slightly to keep the mixture from sticking. Chill for 15-20 minutes. This helps them hold their shape and stay juicy when searing. 2. Sear Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs in a single layer, working in batches if needed, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned all over. They don't need to be cooked through yet. Transfer to a plate. 3. Make the glaze Lower the heat to medium. Add all the glaze ingredients except the cornstarch slurry to the same skillet, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom. Simmer for 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the sauce starts to thicken. 4. Simmer the meatballs Return the meatballs to the pan, turning to coat. Cover and simmer on low for 8-10 minutes, turning them once or twice, until cooked through (165°F internally). Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer uncovered for 1-2 minutes, until the glaze thickens into a sticky, glossy coating that clings to each meatball. 5. Mix the creamy drizzle Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, gochujang, honey, vinegar, garlic, and salt. Thin with a splash of water if needed so it drizzles easily. 6. Serve Pile the meatballs into a bowl, drizzle the creamy sauce over the top so it runs down the sides, and finish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve over steamed rice. Tips 80/20 ground beef is the right choice. Leaner meat gives dry, tough meatballs. Don't overmix. Stop as soon as the mixture holds together — that's what keeps them tender. Chill before searing. Cold meatballs hold their shape and don't fall apart in the pan. Gochujang varies in heat. Start with the amounts listed, then add more if you want more punch. It's also quite sweet, so taste the glaze before adding extra sugar. Watch the honey and sugar. They burn fast — keep the heat at medium once the glaze goes in, and don't walk away. The cornstarch slurry is what makes the glaze sticky. Without it, the sauce stays thin and pools at the bottom of the bowl. Air fryer option: cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway, then toss in the stovetop glaze. Make ahead: sear the meatballs and mix the glaze a day ahead; simmer together before serving. Swap-ins: this glaze works beautifully on ground chicken or turkey meatballs, seared salmon, or crispy tofu. Leftovers keep 3 days in the fridge. Reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of water rather than the microwave.

I bet you're making scrambled eggs wrong. If you are adding milk to your eggs, or salt before cooking, using cooking spray, or cooking on medium or higher heat...you certainly are. Chef BadgedPatriot is about to hook you up.👨‍🍳You have nothing to lose. Try this: Set your eggs out 20 min before u cook them so they get room temperature. WHISK only them in a bowl until they look frothy Make sure your pan isn't too big. 8 in pan for 2 eggs. 10 in pan for 4. (Too big a pan ruins the egg texture) Melt REAL BUTTER (not margarine) in a pan on LOW HEAT. Be generous with the butter! Cook the eggs on LOW heat. (This matters) Fold the eggs toward the middle of the pan & let the liquid run to the sides. Continue until done. Pull the eggs when they look shiny. Do not cook until dry! Let sit 1 min on plate...eggs still cook from heat on plate. After 1 min, use COLD butter to work into the eggs to stop the cooking process & add flavor Salt & pepper before serving and add parsley on top You follow this to perfection you'll never cook them any other way. You're welcome👍

Dear companies: never have I ever interacted with an AI customer service (chat bot, phone answering bot, etc) and come away feeling anything less than rage at its incompetence. They literally never help me and I usually end up begging multiple times for it to let me talk to a human. Please bring the humans back.

If you want to put on a ton of muscle this year, you need to be slamming arroz con leche DAILY Arroz con leche is a Spanish rice pudding that is really easy to cook and brings insane density of carbs, some protein and little fat It's just basically rice, milk and sugar Quick recipe overview: - Ingredients: 1 cup of dry rice, 1 cup of sugar and 1L of whole milk - Cook the rice in water (for each cup of rice, 2 of water) - Add milk and sugar - If you want to add cinnamon/vanilla or anything that gives flavour, add here - Simmer on low until it thickens. Stir it often or it can stick - Let it cool before eating This makes approximately 4 good bowls. Scale the ingredients up if you want to make more Now take a look at the macros - For each 350g bowl: Around 515 kcal, 99 g carbs, 11 g protein, and 8.5 g fat Absolute carb NUKE. It is the densest source of carbohydrates I know that doesn't sit like a brick in your stomach It fuels your workouts like hell and goes down super easy. It also keeps your Ca:P balanced Make a big batch on Sunday, keep it in the fridge, and you’ve got a tasty mass gainer that will last you through the whole week
