The feeling is *very* mutual! The transition as Gil has moved across the ocean has been challenging for us but we've been so lucky to be embraced & supported by Courtney & many other mentors in @TAMUEEB (❤️❤️❤️!) even as @GilRosenthal has continued to guide us from afar.

Help us congratulate @matechoice's latest PhD candidate, @funcaption! She gave a great talk on turkey popgen/domestication and can now have some well-deserved rest! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Yay, Amanda!!!!

Yesterday was our excellent cat-wrangling (the cats are us) lab manager @faithinbirds's last day. We are so sad to lose her but SO excited for her next step-she's starting a PhD in @evakfischer's lab @iBioIllinois! Here she is (on the right) w/ some of us during a hike @CICHAZ1💕

After a long hiatus & vaccination, some of us have returned to @CICHAZ1 to catch up on fieldwork, behavioral experiments, & birdwatching! We're so grateful to be able to come home Pics by @faithinbirds. Hummingbird tentatively ID'd as a Wedge-tailed Sabrewing by @Daniel_L_Powell
