Stéphane Ratel still has two dreams: one is returning to the markets in Africa and Argentina, and the other is hosting a World Final for the four GT World Challenge championships. "Maybe one day…", Ratel smiled, thinking about the latter idea. "Every time I meet an exotic promoter, I propose it, but cost-wise it's rather sharp. But it's the absolute dream to bring all the 120 or 130 GT World Challenge cars in one place for a World Final. This is a dream, but the teams won't go, if we don't cover [the costs] and you need a lot of money to do it. Maybe one day, as the championship continues to grow and the interest is growing." He was also very clear about where he wants to host GT3 races, if money wasn't a factor. "Potrero de los Funes! I would love to go back to Potrero de los Funes! I would like to go back to Argentina. There is two I would like to go back to and the second one is Kyalami. The first event we did in 2019, just before the pandemic, was amazing. It's such a beautiful circuit and to go back there… Formula One is already going back to Africa, but hey, we were the first to do it. It was a wonderful event, but it was struck by COVID.
