“Touring [now] feels like a 360 deal. Venues want a piece of everything—door, merch, and anything else you touch—and they’re not helping you get people in the building.”
I spoke with @RapperBigPooh about Little Brother’s final tour & the reality of hitting the road in 2025 🧵

12 years ago today I was with Kendrick Lamar after his show in Vegas.
good kid, m.A.A.d city was about to drop and we were in a studio a few hours before stores opened and people could buy it.
While at the studio, we talked, did an interview and he recorded The Heart Pt. 3. We also shot a “Decoded” for Jay-Z’s now defunct website Life+Times where @kendricklamar broke down the lyrics to “Sing About Me.”
The masses hadn’t heard the song yet and it would go on to arguably be his greatest moment as a storyteller.
When Life+Times became Tidal, all of these videos were removed from YouTube.
On the 12-year anniversary of GKMC, here is the full video.

Last night Felipe Esparza broke our ALL TIME record for 2-shows in 1 night bar sales!!! The laughter was rolling like crazy and so were the drinks 🍻🍸🍹🍾
Big shoutout to our bar & concessions team for supplying one of the busiest bar nights since 1964!!

When y'all say that y'all want to do what I do, I wish y'all could see how I be over here, not eating because I'm trying to put shit together. With that being said, thank you @TheRealKhiry @BigdoobieBDE & @Murkemz for answering my call and being a part of this amazing event. Welcome to the Beautiful Chaos!
Red and Meth show tomorrow!

If you're a photographer or any other kind of creative freelancer, you probably get asked your rate. While are lots of factors to consider in pricing, you should have a general number for the cost for your time and value. So, how do you figure out a rate? 🧵
