Redesign Health has acquired ARC Global and AVIA, becoming the largest global applied AI firm in healthcare.
Artificial intelligence is the most important technology of our lifetimes. At Redesign Health, we believe healthcare stands to benefit more than any other industry.
The potential is difficult to overstate: Better clinical decisions. More time for caregivers to care. Dramatically lower administrative costs. Agents working on behalf of patients to navigate the incredible friction of referrals, scheduling, prescriptions, and insurance. World-class expertise reaching patients who have never had access to providers of that caliber. Entirely new ways to organize and deliver care.
I’ve spent the better part of a decade building healthcare technology businesses, bringing new products to market, winning enterprise customers, and navigating the enormous complexity of getting software deployed in healthcare.
One lesson keeps coming back: you must deeply understand how healthcare works to build (and sell) great healthcare products.
Clinical workflows, reimbursement, operations, patient experience, and the thousand little details that separate a promising technology from a great outcome at scale.
The opportunity is to combine the world’s leading healthcare providers, solution designers, and forward-deployed teams with exceptional technologists and capital. Then deploy what works across healthcare at scale.
That’s what makes today’s announcement so exciting. Together, we’re bringing the healthcare expertise, engineering talent, capital, and global reach to deliver applied AI solutions for healthcare, by healthcare.
I’m also thrilled to work alongside Stephen Klasko, Eyal Zimlichman, Clay Holderman, Eric Langshur, and the teams joining us.
There is much to build! Let’s get to work.

It’s now a cow pasture.
The same family owns it. The son (shot accidentally and evacuated as the first casualty to England) became Mayor of the town and built the Utah beach Museum.
The grandson, now an old man, will serve you his homemade liquor whilst you stroll the field avoiding cow pies.
Good friend of mine lives/lived in the middle house. His neighbors woke him up at 5am just before the floor separated.

AI will do the majority of the work in medicine within just a few years
And doctors will love it, because they will get to do the most human parts of the job, and millions of patient lives will be saved
NEW: Google and Beth Israel Deaconess published a clinical study in The Lancet testing AMIE, Google's medical AI, with 98 real patients ahead of urgent primary care visits.
Patients chatted with AMIE before seeing their doctor, allowing the AI to collect medical histories, ask follow-up questions, and prepare clinical summaries for physicians.
The results:
• 90% included the doctor's final diagnosis
• 75% said summaries helped prepare for visits
• ~60% said AI may have changed their approach
• 0 conversations stopped for safety reasons
Having an AI take a patient's history before the visit so doctors can spend less time gathering information & more time actually caring for patients is just a good idea.
“Only those who want to deceive the masses and to govern for their own benefit could wish to maintain them in their ignorance; for the more enlightened the masses are, the more people will be convinced of the necessity of the laws and of the need to protect them, and the more settled, happy, and prosperous society will be.”
When they say “yes” you hang up the phone and send an order form immediately.
Incredible how many people keep talking.
How the low IQ sales guy wins:
- List building: pick enough (100?) accounts and start. Skip the perfect ICP
- Volume: the 50th dial gets made without thinking
- Copy: write it like a text msg
- Discovery: ask the question you actually want answered. Stop talking
- Demos: show the one thing they care about
- Negotiation: say the number. Stop talking
- Closing: when they say yes, say "OK."
Dummy up
My car drove me to the airport while I worked out a few ideas in voice conversation with a personal super intelligence before arriving to fly on a plane with Starlink.
What a time to be alive for those of us who like to wake up and make shit happen.
You have to respect both the player and the game in this scenario.
Who knew Marco Rubio had the Steve Jobs routine absolutely nailed??
🚨 JUST IN: Sec. Marco Rubio announces Americans will be able to apply for passports ENTIRELY ONLINE instead of spending HOURS and frustration doing it in-person
"No printing forms, no drug store hostage photo, no appointment, no line, no middleman...and REAL-TIME STATUS, [tracking] estimated delivery date."
"By the end of 2027, our goal is for most Americans to be able to apply for a passport or passport card on America .gov."
He just PERSONALLY confirmed it: America .gov will let you do the entire process online
This is massively overdue! The page is Super Intelligence-powered. EVERY nation is going to copy it 🇺🇸
in all seriousness, america.gov is awesome. congratulations @jgebbia!!
If the federal government can do applied AI, so can your organization!
It's true, the agent cannot finesse 7A like I can.
.@benthompson says consumer AI has a marketing problem because the average consumer doesn't actually want to be more productive.
"Tech companies are like, 'Let us book your flight for you!' I’ve had a personal assistant for 10 years. He does not come within an inch of booking my flights for me. That is crazy talk."
"I understand which ones are gonna be delayed. I know which seat I want to be on. So the fact that this is continually a demo is hilarious to me."
“Number two: people love shopping. They don’t want to be productive. They want to be entertained. One of the biggest forms of entertainment is shopping.”
"Also, there’s so much information on a product page. Companies have spent so much energy focusing on that. You look at apparel as a category. They’re going to tell you what size the model is wearing, and you want to know that, and you want to look at the different styles."
"The idea of having a personal agent that’s going and getting some of the information and bringing it back to you, and then you’re like, 'Well, what about this other thing? Tell me about this thing.'"
"And you have your eager tech company executive say, “Oh, I have an assistant that can do it for you!"
"And it’s like, no. Not only do I want to do it, I want to complain about it. I’m enjoying myself complaining right now, okay? Would you just let me be and live my life?"
It’s this simple folks. Except keep bumping that top tier up until you hear three “no’s” in a row.
