As we reflect today on Christ’s Resurrection, we are reminded that with faith, hope, and love — even death can be defeated. From our family to yours, we wish you hope, health, joy, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding. Happy Easter and may God bless and keep you.

100 years ago today, Gandhi was put in jail in India, then still under British rule. His crime: “Uttering or writing words exciting disaffection towards the government established by law.” Placed in solitary confinement, he used his time to write a children’s schoolbook.

"I take bus or rail regularly, but relying solely on transit without a car as a ‘back-up’ taught me a lot. I challenge everyone—and especially policymakers—to spend a #WeekWithoutDriving to learn about the communities we serve and to guide even stronger regional connections." -TW

Cycling to work is a good start to the day. As an MP, I often cycled to work, weather permitting. Today was the first time cycling to the office since I became Prime Minister in January 2021. Hopefully I can #biketowork more frequently in the summer.
