october was a pretty big month for my framer templates 🦾
after the 3.0 update, i honestly thought i was done with templates. i had started getting some decent direct sales before the update, but everything pretty much stopped afterward. i got frustrated and decided to move on.
then, around two months ago, i made all my templates free. and things started moving again.
just got my october recap, and seeing these results makes me genuinely happy and motivated to keep going. there's clearly still potential here, and i'm excited to see how much further i can take this in november and december.
meanwhile, i'm still building Foundation Studio™ and working with clients. a bit of a slower month on that side, but keeping things moving.
on to november! 🚀
@framer @dubdotco
built a new header for a project and ended up liking it so much that i might reuse it in future projects
now i’m thinking about turning it into a @framer marketplace component.
might as well see if it can bring in some commissions too haha 💸
more glimpses of iki 🍵
the project is almost finished, and i should be wrapping everything up next week.
it’s been a fun one to work on, especially seeing how the initial concept has evolved into a complete visual identity.
excited to share the final result soon :)
Mary Holt© is climbing again📈
after a small dip over the past few days, it’s now sitting at #39 overall and #16 in the designer category on the @framer marketplace.
still crazy to see!!
here’s the template if you want to check it out👇

started working on a new @framer template 😛
the preloader and hero background are already coming together, and i’m planning to make this one completely free.
i’ll also include a tutorial showing how to create your own animated 3d character and build the preloader animation.
more soon.
Framebuilder just got its first commission after around 2 months on the @framer marketplace!!
it’s a dashboard template you can turn into pretty much anything: a digital product store, a portfolio, or your own platform.
it hasn’t ranked particularly well so far😂, so i’m curious to see if this first commission helps it gain some traction...
one more template starting to bring in commissions📈

just pushed a couple of updates to Theo Cole!
it’s a portfolio template with floating cards to showcase your projects!
i built this one before the 3.0 update, so you know the quality is there 😉

yo, another $180 commission from a @framer template 👀
this time it came from "Noah Carter", not "Mary Holt©".
plus 2 smaller commissions throughout the week.
lfg!!!!

a little update 👀
Mary Holt© just broke into the top 100 overall on the @framer marketplace, now sitting at #98 overall and #24 in designer.
out of the 6 templates i’ve created, this is the one that keeps gaining traction and bringing in commissions.
not sure if it’s luck or not, but seeing this definitely makes me consider getting back into template creation after taking a break from it.
maybe it’s time to give it another shot...
and they keep coming in... @framer @dubdotco
another commission from my Mary Holt© template, which keeps climbing the rankings. currently sitting at #270 overall and #66 in designer.
if one well-ranked template is bringing in commissions every few days or once a week, imagine what could happen if all my templates were ranked this well...
in case you want to check it out👇

more visuals from iki, a matcha shop i’ve been working on 🍵
the project is getting close to its final stage, and it’s been really interesting to see how the initial concept has gradually turned into a complete brand.
from the strategy to the visual identity, every decision has helped shape a more cohesive and distinctive world for iki.
almost there. excited to share more of the final result soon
another clip from my new youtube video! 🎥

before designing a logo, choosing colors, or opening anything, you need to understand the product itself.
what does it do? who is it for? what problem does it solve? and why should anyone care?
these questions might seem obvious, but the answers shape every decision that comes afterward.
in this video, i walk through the entire process of building Vault® from scratch, from the initial brief and strategy to the branding, product design, and website.
not just the final visuals, but the thinking and decisions behind them.

some visuals from iki, a matcha shop i’m currently working on 🍵
one of the most interesting parts of this project has been figuring out how to turn an abstract concept into something people can actually see and feel.
from the typography to the illustrations and overall visual language, every element is an opportunity to give the brand more personality and make it feel like its own world.
still exploring, but i’m really enjoying where this is going.
crazyy💀 @dubdotco @framer
i genuinely have no idea what’s happening with my framer templates haha. last week i got a $50 commission, and today i just got another one for $130.
but damn… this does make me wonder if there’s actually something here.
maybe i judged it too quickly. i said more than once that the template business was dead, and honestly… i’m starting to do better than i was before.
maybe i was wrong, or maybe i just got lucky. we’ll see...
the template that generated those two commissions 👀
