another one for the books I got to spend 10 days with this new roster and finally capture this one how lucky I was - this is such an incredible group to be surrounded by
One of our new founders landed a multimillion-dollar contract in Japan by growing a beard, printing fake “Growth Director” business cards and throwing his own embassy reception. ⠀ He’s just one of the outliers in The Bridge Fall 26 cohort, which has officially kicked off. A few other crazy things they pulled off before landing in San Francisco: > Won four international physics olympiad medals, then helped scale a foundation model at top HFT firm 200x in size as part of a team whose model generated nine-figure annualised revenue. ⠀ > Turned down a €400K quant trading track to teach himself longevity biotech. ⠀ > Built a voting platform at 15, grew it to 30,000 users, and sold it to the Council of Europe at 16. ⠀ > Built an AI tool that turns prompts into working hardware designs and grew it from $0 to $23K MRR in six months. Had already sold an AI tutoring business with 10,000+ paying students. ⠀ > Built a thrust-vector-controlled rocket in high school, then went on to build testbeds at NASA JPL and rocket-engine hardware at Japan’s space agency. Also raised CHF 2M for charities door-to-door alongside his studies. ⠀ > Built an AI product solo to 350,000 users and $30K ARR in eight months, with $0 spent on marketing. ⠀ > Won the highest-scoring gold medal at the International Philosophy Olympiad, then built a quant-finance platform that hit $30K ARR in its first month after launching exclusively to MIT’s Master of Finance cohort. ⠀ At The Bridge, we take chances on crazy outliers who’ve shown an edge that’s impossible to ignore. ⠀ Follow The Bridge to follow their journey.

Making researchers’ lives better. Flic walks into Tetsuwan Scientific’s office in San Francisco. The building has been there since the 1880s, and it used to be a laundromat. Now it’s home to prototypes and a robotics company building for scientists. A few years ago, Tetsuwan Scientific was just getting started at EF. Today, they’ve deployed to their first customer sites and stayed focused on the same mission: making researchers’ lives better. Watch episode 1 of Inside Tetsuwan Scientific with @c_m_ponce

Very few people have seen my childhood magic tricks. I found old clips of me doing judo, making random videos, and taking card tricks way too seriously. That obsession is the job. We’re hiring creators at @joinef. London + SF. If you made holiday edits, Fortnite montages, or random internet videos before anyone cared, DM me.

i've spent the last few days documenting the stories of these founders: former olympians, chess players, roboticists in hospitality... tomorrow, they’ll tell their story to some of the world’s best investors in San Francisco. let's go!

founder stories have been told the same way for years. it's time to test new formats, new narratives - and we're doing this on Friday in SF. on Saturday, 10-15 creators will present their work, to a panel of great storytellers - announcing a new jury member: @saxena_sooraj

i spent some time in India to film and capture what the team is doing. as a former investor, i’m very bullish on this new group of founders. talent density + optimistic environment usually yield great outcomes. let’s check in 12 weeks.
We just selected the next generation of Indian founders. Over the next 12 weeks in Bangalore, they’ll go from zero to company: > find a cofounder > figure out what to spend the next 10 years building We’ll be there with them, pushing their ambition and giving them the environment to do their best work. Time to lock in.

Love the story - congrats @paulscherer and team!
I’m honored to share that @eigenhq has raised $15M from @Benchmark to build a mutual friend that’ll help us belong and grow, together.
