Yes a severely mentally-ill guy hitting an MP with his car is absolutely the same issue as public servants' invalid hurt feelings about getting roasted at Estimates. Of course it is.
Katy Gallagher says clips of estimates are causing top bureaucrats to quit. If she means Gordon De Brouwer, the Public Service Commissioner who resigned after he said in estimates that it was ok to destroy records, its OK. Gordon is crying into his new million dollar job

Children are our enemy’s they are all traders
Students are planning to protest against Pauline Hanson and One Nation on 11th November. Remembrance Day. There's no way the date is coincidental. It just shows what type of people these protesters are. And they call us hateful.

"We're still not reassured of the department's ability to administer [TCF] lawfully. When the consequences of error are as significant as people having no income at all, it's critically important that the government take the time to get it right," EJA told @YahooFinance last week

The compliance scheme, known as the Targeted Compliance Framework, has been paused for much of this year off the back of revelations of unlawful operations - including EJA analysis that revealed ~310K people had their payments cancelled illegally.

Last year, instead of forgiving debts the Albanese government had no way of validating... they passed laws to validate questionable debts. This is at the same time they resumed unlawful payment cancellations. Turn down the temperature for who? au.finance.yahoo.com/news/ce…

Meanwhile, they've acted on NONE of the Robodebt Royal Commission's recommendations for legislative reform in over 3 years, including to restore the normal statute of limitation of 6 years to social security debts. Why wouldn't they do that? This is why. xitter.cf/maximumwelfare/status/…
The Coalition made social security recipients exempt from the ordinary statutes of limitation on debt that apply to everyone else, it was a cornerstone of Robodebt. The Royal Commission recommended this law be repealed, which would be simple. Labor have ignored it for >3 years.

All that fucking horseshit from that blithering dickhead Bill Shorten, all the 'never again' posturing? Labor want to shake you down just like the Coalition did, using the very laws the Coalition passed in order to perpetrate Robodebt in the first place. Sick fucking BASTARDS.

This is going to be a disaster and it will end up in court by the end of next year. Everyone responsible is proceeding in the full knowledge that this will be the outcome, and they're pissing themselves. Simply stopping the runaway class action train, though, is not contemplated.

It's worth clarifying that this is not an ethically or ideologically complex statement. What I have said is I have used a tool and found it useful, where my job is to immediately maximise inadequate resources to do things to grow an organisation. Pretty well qualified, I thought!
I am usually wearing several hats on behalf of small non-profits. I will figure it out from scratch which is why I get hired. Most of the time I already know exactly what I need and how to get it, the biggest deficit is always grunt work. This alone is saving me WEEKS at a time.

If you don't have juniors or reliable volunteers, if you want to expand the organisation and the senior team you will have to do things. A lot of people have run NFPs as a sinecure for going to ANU and being a staffer 30 years ago. It's not 2008 anymore, it's adapt or die now.
