Watching that unfold reminded me of something from my own early songwriting days. Back in the 2009 Hannah Montana era, I was 17 and writing constantly. One night I tweeted about my song to Miley Cyrus… …and she actually replied. One notification. But it opened doors I never expected. Radio interviews. Music industry conversations. And one moment I’ll always be grateful for: Getting the chance to rewrite my first song with Nashville singer-songwriter Terry Bell. For a young songwriter, that felt like a real blessing.
