Going back to the drawing board (again) and focusing on the fundamentals.
I easily find myself getting frustrated that I am not where I want to be, and self doubt creeps in with my mind scrambling trying to outpace my skill level.
Realizing that I am in my own race and have time is something I’m pretty bad at.
But I also have to realize that’s shits crazy right now. Our family is in the middle of a move to Tennessee and I’m starting a business all at the same time.
But we push onward. Nothing will stop me from reaching my goals.
Stay snazzy 😎🏴

I hope we can keep these dudes in business. They fought the good fight for a long time.
Trying out the Bermuda Triangle drill from Justin shoots.
Very fun drill that tests a few different things at once. I was hitting 10.1-10.4 on these runs. Honestly frustrating with myself that I know what I need to do but translating it from my brain to the range is a roadblock for me.
Hits were good, movement wasn’t as apathetic as before but it still didn’t feel “good”
Idk. Let me know your thoughts.

Some professional B class dry fire for you.
Go do your dry fire anon.
And as always, stay snazzy 😎
Quick tips from Mr. @AT3Tactical.
guaranteed to give you more style points per stage.
If you don't hit left d-pad before the run to inspect your weapon, you can't get a good score on the stage.

Match results time! Last major of the year for me being Tennessee state and I think It was my worst and best match yet at the same time. Goal was controlled aggression focusing on being aggressive with my vision no 3rd sight pictures and full power full speed on movement. For the most part I would say I was successful at that with a few instances of being a little uncontrolled and still getting 3rd sight pictures but not on all targets anymore. I am a idiot and used new springs and followers without thoroughly testing them and turns out they are ass and dont work. Getting lot of failure to feed and mags not seating on load/reload. They were advertised as 24+1 23 reloadable but I was still having trouble seating them on reload when they were downloaded to 19. Switched back to old springs and followers when I got back home and both issues went away. I lost easily 20+ seconds to this and if I had not I would have finished 97% in 10th place which was my goal for the year(top ten at a major). This was my last chance to make that happen and it stings extra hard that I could have done it even with my mistakes if I was just not a idiot and did not change gear right before a match. Now that its over though at least it is good data that I am capable of doing it. I finished at 83% which is pretty on par with where me of 2 months ago might have finished so I tied my past self with a 20 second handicap. I pretty happy about that improvement like I said though it just hurts to not reach my goals for the year. My mental state at this match was the worst it has ever been and without all the homies cheering me on It would have been much worse so I am super grateful to them.
Stage 10: Mag did not seat on load and round failed to feed that plus me still being asleep and shooting way to many C's and over running a position lead to this disaster of a stage.
Stage 11: tried my best to wake up and warm up after that horrible start and this stage did go better vision was not quite there yet with me shooting the barrel and a delta.
Stage 1: To many c's and d's squatting shooting through the ports and then a mike on the second to last target the left no shoot. Probably shot first shot to early or some hand tension no exactly sure with this one and then second shot was dead center a. Could have been pre aiming the mini poppers in the back right sooner.
Stage 3: Magnet did not magnet for some reason which sucks mike on the first target in the last position as my back foot landed I called a close a to the line and it was just barley in the black unfortunately. could have been pre aiming and shot t5 sooner. Put in more effort into the movement and it was better as nutty would say gotta remember this is a timed competition when you move move with everything you have.
Stage 4: Should not take my hand off the gun as much on these shorter movements could be pre aiming and shooting sooner.
Stage 5: This is where I see a glimpse of the going faster in training paying off and the controlled aggression with my vision all until my vision goes to fast and I drag off a mike on the second to last target and I called it but was high hf burner stage so I didnt think It was worth the make up in the moment.
Stage 6: I think I executed fine on this stage a couple to many c's. probably would have been better to reload after the paper on the move and get to the left side of the barrel hit activator steel then hit 1 or maybe both of the static paper before the swinger comes out.
Stage 7: need to get faster on the wider transitions could have cut on out on the last position if I just went left to right. down some more time on this stage bc I slipped I hate gravel.
Stage 8: could be turning and pre aiming sooner coming into 3rd position and also to many 3rd sight pictures in that position.
Stage 9: very unsatisfying last major stage of the year. got distracted by the malfunction and just let it carry over into my hits for the rest of the stage bad way to end.

All Glory to God!
IPSC Nationals is in the books and I am so happy with my performance at this match. I placed 8th in open at 97.03%, and I apparently am considered a junior in IPSC so I am officially the 2026 IPSC USA Junior National Champion! (I didnt win the match so im not counting it 😂)
It wasnt a perfect match for me but it was definitely my best match performance yet and only the beginning of whats to come.
The stages at this match were incredible and I cannot wait to shoot in the open super squad at next year’s match!
I want to thank my Mom and .@KingWash1789 for coming out to be with me and support me the entire match. Their support means the world to me
