i think most teams fail due to lack of alignment & communication.
an aligned team that communicates and combines their individual strengths to boost each other’s will grow drastically faster than a team who has either;
1: a know it all who doesn’t take constructive criticism, and puts their ego above overall success and alignment.
2: an individual who may not be best suited for a role & who doesn’t align with the rest of the team due to poor communication etiquette.
i think you are better off OVER communicating than assuming, and there seems to be a strange hierarchal primitive block in startups that completely kill them where people don’t want to listen to anyone else’s opinion, they make assumptions, and they look down on trial and error.
the best startups are brotherhoods, build each other up, bounce ideas, and kill the egos.
