Not to be too much of a doomer, but this is approaching low tide right now at Pea Island. If the ocean is this high at low tide with the storm long gone they are in rough shape. We do have a full moon and northeast winds this weekend which will continue to keep tides higher. I'm worried that this stretch of beach has changed enough that the road simply can't be there anymore.
