☘️ Remember the buzz around Belfast during the Fleadh?
Today, Sinn Féin Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins launched plans to extend pedestrianisation to parts of the city centre all year round.
The aim is to give people more space to enjoy Belfast, support our bars, cafés and restaurants, and make better use of our city centre.
Let’s build on what worked during the Fleadh and unlock more of Belfast’s huge potential!

I’ll never forget this day.
The day Michelle O’Neill made her inaugural speech as First Minister.
I remember thinking one day my little girl might ask me - where was I that day mummy? So I jumped in my car knowing I could always answer - you were there my girl.
That you can be whatever you want to be.
That Nationalists NEED apply.
That you are not a second class citizen.
Because of Michelle O’Neill and the people that put her there. The only people who can decide who the First Minister of the day is.
Michelle O’Neill
Our First Minister 💚

💚 What a brilliant few weeks of the GAA, with football, hurling and camogie finals showcasing the talent, passion and pride that make Gaelic games so special.
A huge go raibh maith agaibh to everyone who makes it happen - those who take to the field, coach, officiate, volunteer behind the scenes, and turn up week after week to support their club.
Comhghairdeas to all the new county champions, and ádh mór as you progress to the next stage of your campaigns.
To those who came close, keep the heads up. Your hard work and resilience will see you back again.
The GAA is thriving across Ulster, and I’ll continue to do all I can to support its growth and development.

👏🏻 Massive reception as hundreds pack the Montalto Estate for the launch of Sinn Féin Strangford candidate Chris Hazzard’s election campaign.
With new areas coming into Strangford for the first time in the Assembly election next year, Sinn Féin is now in pole position to win a seat.
There has never been a Nationalist MLA in Strangford.
You can change that next May.
You can elect the first Sinn Féin MLA ever in Strangford.
You can elect Chris Hazzard.
Together, let’s make history in Strangford.

The Unionist attempt this evening to exclude Michelle O’Neill and Sinn Féin’s ministers from office has FAILED.
Sinn Féin was proud to stand with the Garvaghy Road residents against sectarian harassment, and to protect 28 years of peace.
The days of treating nationalists as second-class citizens are over.
There is no going back.
Not Now. Not Ever!

I have confidence in the people of the Garvaghy Road.
I have confidence in the people from right across Ireland who stood with them to protect peace and progress.
I have confidence in the vast majority of people in our society, from all backgrounds, who do not want to be dragged backwards.
And I have confidence in my decision to support the Garvaghy Road residents.
It’s 2026, not 1969. There is no going back.

A historic day for the West. 👏
Huge credit to the families who kept on the pressure and the "Enough is Enough" committee for their tireless work.
We also remember everyone who fought for the A5 over the years but sadly didn't see today's outcome.
