#1 As a 6-year commercial solar professional in addition to cryptocurrency enthusiast, I’m appalled at Elon’s tweet about #bitcoin. Coal prod. and cons. has drastically reduced in all regions apart from China where much development utilizes the resource.
#4 While it’s “likely”, being the keyword, that China’s Bitcoin mining is energized from coal consumption, it’s not a guarantee since sources like Solar can offset daytime consumption needs, although Solar’s energy mix is lower comparatively.
#5 In summary, this is price manipulation. If Tesla is not accepting Bitcoin for transactions, they better not be accepting any other currency like USD or Yuan. Who knows what source their money printers use?
