Oh wow, if you like books maybe pick up a copy of my wife’s achingly beautiful novel about the love affair between Eleanor Roosevelt and Lorena Hickok? kellyoconnormcnees.com/undis…

This terrible account posts screenshots of other people's tweets, instead of retweeting or quoting them. They don't even @ the poster. Sad and gross.

Can’t believe there are folks on here still making excuses for Elon. This is who he is. There is no alternate interpretation that makes it okay.

Oppenheimer's famous quote ("..the destroyer of worlds") is something he came up with many years later. It's a colorful bit of revisionist history. Bainbridge's quote is something he actually said at the time. He had no illusions about what they'd done and their culpability.
Physicist Kenneth Bainbridge was born #OTD in 1904. He used mass spectrometetry to verify Einstein’s mass-energy equivalence, built Harvard’s cyclotron, and directed the Manhattan Project’s Trinity Test. After the blast, he said to #Oppenheimer “Now we are all sons of bitches.”

When I tried to follow the Harris campaign yesterday, I got a “limit reached” error. Other follows didn’t produce that error. But you can’t point out the obvious without angry Elon fans flipping out.

This strange tweet got >25k retweets. The author sounds confident, and he uses lots of hex and jargon. There are red flags though... like what's up with the DEI stuff, and who says "stack trace dump"? Let's take a closer look... 🧵1/n

Like any serious code review, this one includes a “can we blame DEI” tangent with a weird right wing grifter.

Just found out that Taylor & Francis has sold access to all @routledgebooks data to Microsoft to train their AI. This includes my publications. I get no payment for using my research labour, never mind the bigger problems of this energy-intensive extractivism...

I did this for @FieldNotesBrand back in 2014 but no one ever claimed the pen, which afaik is still available.
