At the Southeast Asian Women Ambassadors’ Forum on Peace, @Menlu_RI & I discussed the importance of having women in leadership positions, especially in foreign policy and diplomacy.
When women are in decision making positions and are consulted, economies and societies benefit.
I learned more about the Maranaos from Nasser Marohomsalic’s
fictionalised autobiographical accounts in his two short ‘novels.’ Reading his lyrical prose was truly enjoyable. Thank you Nasser for sharing yourself to many. You will live on in these stories.
