🚨 BREAKING: Prominent Michigan Democrat fundraiser David Kramer — who served as campaign finance chair for both Sen. Elissa Slotkin and Rep. Haley Stevens — announces he is JUMPING SHIP to vote MIKE ROGERS (R) for US Senate over Abdul El Sayed, per Jewish Insider
Abdul is TANKING! 🔥
Kramer says that even as a lifelong Democrat, backing Rogers is FAR more impactful than leaving his ballot blank to stop Mohamed from reaching the Senate
Another Democrat defection.
It really feels like Michigan Mike has the momentum!

Democrats keep complaining about the cost of groceries, yet they offer no specifics!
When’s the last time you paid $1 for a loaf of bread, or $1.79 for a dozen eggs, or $3.50 for a 1/2 gallon of lactose free milk?
The last time for me was today at the @GiantFood in Potomac!
We were paying nearly $5/dozen for eggs during the Biden Administration!
Thanks @POTUS for lowering prices at the grocery store!

🚨 MARYLAND QUESTION 1: UNION CONTRACTS GET BUDGET PROTECTION — BUT WHO PROTECTS TAXPAYERS?
Maryland Democrats are promoting Question 1 as a way to protect state employee union agreements. But the proposed constitutional amendment raises serious questions about spending, budget flexibility, and accountability.
Maryland already faces significant budget pressures. Question 1 would require the governor to include funding for negotiated union contracts and qualifying binding arbitration decisions in the proposed state budget.
▪️ HIGHER COSTS: State fiscal analysts warn employee compensation expenses could increase significantly, with administrative costs starting at $150,000 annually.
▪️ LESS BUDGET FLEXIBILITY: The governor would have less discretion to balance union compensation commitments against competing spending priorities.
▪️ ARBITRATION POWER: Binding arbitration could produce costly agreements that taxpayers had no direct role in negotiating.
▪️ CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE: Rather than addressing these matters through ordinary legislation, Question 1 would embed a new budget requirement in Maryland's Constitution.
▪️ NO GUARANTEED FUNDING: The General Assembly would retain final appropriations authority, creating questions about how disputes over funding would be resolved.
Supporting state employees and demanding fiscal responsibility are not mutually exclusive.
Before changing Maryland's Constitution, voters deserve a clear estimate of the costs and an explanation of how those obligations would be financed.
Why should Maryland constitutionally prioritize negotiated compensation commitments without first establishing their long-term affordability?
Question 1 requires the Governor's proposed budget to fund state employee union contract terms reached through negotiation or binding arbitration. We are asking Marylanders to vote yes on question 1 on November 3rd. Learn more about you’re ballot at Elections.md.gov
