I've said it before but ya'll have got to look outside of your own lens with these crackdowns on platforms bc of SESTA/FOSTA. A lot of you are in a PRIVILIGED position to say to stay on platforms, jump platforms, etc. We are not all on the same wavelength in this industry. I, a diverse black woman face the full force of policy changes because I already have to FIGHT for visibility and engagement as is.
I do not want to move platforms but when I cannot enforce the theme of my fansite at its fullest ( denial/censorship ) anymore because a site is wiping out content, what do you expect someone like ME to do?
"Just-" that is easy for YOU to say because you're not in my position. So no amount of advice, tips and two-cents is gonna change the fact that I experience this differently than others. And that is the tough pillow that should be swallowed.
