great article about how the recent erasure of climate change from political messaging and media coverage is not an organic reaction to voters’ concerns, but a coordinated command from corporate think tanks:
I wrote a (long, maybe too long) case against climate hushing.
Much of it attempts to methodically rebut the hushers' (generally quite weak) arguments. But it also makes the affirmative case for why talking about climate is so critically important. In the midst of a heat wave that's already killed tens of thousands of people across Europe and India in the last week, I think it's worth a read.
