Building one company is hard. Building two, with your spouse — while raising a toddler — sounds like chaos. (And yes, it is.)
I stand by this. You may not find your people everywhere, but you can find them if you keep looking.

Every year I have a CEO/Founder whose story and storytelling of their company journey really strikes me. This year, it's Olivia of @FreshStartsHere.
They are popularizing divorce registries (yes, like a wedding registry). First of all, genius idea. Secondly, though, Olivia is putting in the work to end the stigma of divorce. She shares stories, creates conversation, and stays plugged in to the way-too-ignored population of divorcées.
Great market. Great founder(s). Great storytelling.

Tis the season for people complaining about summer.
I'm consciously working to enjoy the summer this year. M friend and I call it the "summer bummers" when we get dreary and sad and dream of it being fall.
But being present makes life sweeter, ya know? Love it while ya have it
AI isn't taking our jobs, it's forcing us to refresh our knowledge.
I used to recommend Quora as a way to build up your personal brand. This was something a thought leader said off the cuff after an event and I thought it was really smart. It was good for SEO for a while:

it showed up in search, added backlinks, your profile sometimes showed up in Google Images, etc.
Now, there's an AI bot that's pretty dang good at answering a lot of the questions on Quora. Yes, it stinks that a [pretty old] strategy doesn't work...
