Paddock taken out for silage greening up nicely, still have 3 paddocks that have gone to head but atleast they have something to eat! Hopefully will be back on top of it after this round. 32 heifers and 15 cows + calves now on this 13ac field. Heifers been on since 10th of May 👌
Might be a wet and miserable start to spring, but the grass doesn't seem to mind! Grass is growing really well, and no Fertiliser out yet 👌
Finally, some cattle turned out! Just hope they will still be the right side of the electric fence tomorrow 🙈🤞
First lambs picked this afternoon.
Abit disappointed with weight and finish. All this rain is definitely a big factor! 🤞 for sunny weather!
The best tube feeder there is, especially if you are alone when feeding, no milk spilling everywhere, and the calf can't chew the tube! 👌
