Ottawa Fire on scene of a 2-Alarm fire at 89 Richmond Road in Westboro. The interior was heavily involved on arrival. Crews mounted an aggressive interior attack and completed searches of all floors. Due to building conditions this is now defensive operation.

Very sad and sorry to see the closure of several community newspapers in our city. They were great vehicles to connect with our many neighbourhoods and their voices will be missed. My thoughts are with the dedicated employees who will or have lost their jobs.
