10/ Let us be clear: Aaron Swartz and @ZLibrary, @monoskop, @memoryofworld, @scihub & other so-called "pirate" libraries are important sites of civil disobedience & history will always be on their side. The recent #OSTP memo from @POTUS doesn't go far enough. Remember Swartz.

Whichever librarian managed to get not just the "The Twits" but also "Betrayed"; "Resistance" and "Fahrenheit 451" in the shot behind Johnson has my admiration.
Got to be the worst politicians Zoom bookshelves ever. Except what's that in the top, right hand corner, "The Twits". School librarian has a sense of humour.

When I saw the JSTOR article I thought of Aaron immediately. The fine print of the article made it clear; too little, too late. JSTOR doesn’t get it yet. How many seas must a white dove sail before she sleeps in the sand?
aaron didn't need a global pandemic to declare the crisis and act upon one. jstor's gesture comes as too little too late. too little too late killed our heroes in the past and keeps killing us day after day. read, share, disobey and remember aaron swartz archive.org/stream/GuerillaO…
