Dear Stacey, Thanks for so gracefully and selflessly showing us your beautiful body in its true, glowing real-ness. Thank you for posting your glorious beach snaps, knowing they would be snapped up by the body-obsessed press, and knowing this would only do so much good. Thank you for bringing back joy, for the ancient, beloved essence, of the female form. Reminding us what is important. Thank you for being a role model to your daughters and to many other daughters, who will desperately need this image to be available when their moment of weakness hits. When they feel ‘less than’ in their own skin. Thank you for braving the critics, to lead the wave of change. And most of all, thank you, for making me feel empowered to embrace myself as the season of ‘showing more skin’ approaches. You have my gratitude.
