The restaurant owner turned politician who thinks tipping is racist, Christmas decorations are an “attack,” Valentine’s Day is pure evil, and fireworks on the Fourth of July are somehow oppressive. She once checked into a psych ward, dropped out of college, ran a restaurant into the ground, and now wants to run an entire state. These people don’t hide it. They straight-up say socialism delivers the Declaration of Independence better than capitalism ever has. The establishment is dancing with anybody who will still take their hand. Tomorrow’s results are going to be ugly for them.
