Occasionally it hits me that normal houses don't just randomly have test gear lying around the kitchen.
One easy tweak to the Penntek TR-45L I’m going to try is aligning the notch knob so that your own side tone is notched out when the knob is vertical. Left is as-shipped, right is modified.
Measuring the TX power of the Penntek TR-45L. At minimum, 36 mV into 50 Ω, or -16 dBm. And a smidge below 8 V when the rig indicates 1 W, which checks out.
Just barely able to copy slow CW on air now. In this case only realized I had copied valid CW after reviewing what I wrote down. :)
