Very cool visuals from the engine exhaust interacting with the tenuous upper atmosphere. Relight is a success, which is good, it's a shame the booster didn't have so much luck.

FCP and TBT: Supporting Metrics Beyond Core Web Vitals >> FCP and TBT are not Core Web Vitals, but they show early paint time and main-thread blocking in Lighthouse runs. Here is what each measures, how they relate to LCP and INP, and when to add them to monitoring budgets. >> apogeewatcher.com/blog/fcp-t…

If performance checks run only after release, regressions are already in production.

The claim that Denmark has "zero" healthcare/pharmaceutical innovation is incorrect. Denmark is a major innovator despite its universal, tax-funded system: - Novo Nordisk (Danish): invented the first commercial insulin pen (1985) and developed Ozempic/Wegovy (GLP-1 drugs revolutionizing diabetes/obesity treatment). - Coloplast: world's first disposable ostomy pouch. - Global leader in hearing aids (supplies ~50% worldwide via GN Hearing, Widex). - Strong medtech/pharma cluster (Medicon Valley) with Lundbeck (CNS drugs) and more. Private competition drives their R&D globally.

Manual PageSpeed checks work for one site. They break once you handle a portfolio.

You can ask @cursor_ai to search in past sessions, and it will give you when and where you discussed X. And if you keep your specs and plans in your repository, it can figure out the proper context without explaining too much.

First Input Delay is history. Since March 2024, Google’s responsiveness Core Web Vital is INP (Interaction to Next Paint). If your checklist still says “fix FID”, you’re optimising for a metric that left the programme.

Apogee Watcher vs PostHog Web Vitals: Synthetic PageSpeed Monitoring and Product Analytics Compared >> PostHog measures Core Web Vitals from browsers that run `posthog-js`; Apogee Watcher runs scheduled PageSpeed Insights tests with no script on the site. Alerts and “budgets” in PostHog mean trends and insight maintenance; in Watcher they mean monitoring thresholds on test results. When to use one, the other, or both. >> apogeewatcher.com/blog/apoge…

Dear X, Congratulations on pulling one of the sleaziest bait-and-switch moves in tech history. I paid for my Premium subscription expecting X Pro (the actual useful tool formerly known as TweetDeck) to be included as it was when I signed up and kept paying. Now, with zero warning, zero notice, and right in the middle of my billing cycle, you've yanked it away and locked it behind your ridiculous $40/month Premium+ paywall. Poof. Gone. Like it never mattered. This isn't "improving the service." This is straight-up theft of value from paying customers. You took my money under false pretenses, then changed the deal without so much as a DM, email, or pathetic little pop-up. No prorated refund. No apology. Just "lol enjoy the downgrade, sucker." X Pro was the ONE actually productive feature that made subscribing worth it for power users who actually manage timelines, columns, and real work, not just doomscrolling and posting memes. Everything else is fluff. Now it's pay more or lose it. This is the kind of greedy, user-hostile garbage that kills platforms. Treat your subscribers like ATMs you can shake down whenever you feel like hiking the price, and watch how fast loyalty evaporates. Refund the prorated difference or restore X Pro to Premium immediately. Or keep proving that "maximum truth-seeking" apparently doesn't apply to basic consumer honesty. Disgusting. #XProTheft #PremiumScam @elonmusk @X

Not being fully happy of how your code works is standard practice for any developer. There is always room for improvement. Especially for people at Karpathy’s level of expertise.

Plan mode will give more room for the LLM to dig deeper. Then you can ask it to give questions on anything that is not clear. This is another chance of improvement. After initial implementation you can ask it to review and find problems. Often you also get good results by switching models. One to write code, one to review
