This should absolutely get some thought. Attention to the long term outcomes of surgical should be a primary focus. Everything that may even slightly affect #Fontan circulation over years is important.

My belief (and hopefully yours) that exercise is enormous for the #Fontan patient population only gets stronger with every paper that comes out. There is 0 dissenting evidence that I am aware of.
Obesity in #Fontan is not great. These data confirm and extend prior. Reinforcing good dietary and activity habits (with liberal exercise permission) may be a fix! @mgoschu @ACTION4HF @daniel_forsha pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3702…
