A vital but little-discussed element of the response to the war in Ukraine has been safeguarding and preserving the country’s data. #AWS mobilized to help Ukraine move to the cloud at an incredible pace. This has been inspiring work.

Updating to iOS 15.4 has finally corrected the *really* annoying “replace 10 with 1.0 when you type” autocorrect bug… assumed it was a custom dictionary thing, glad I’m not going mad!
Could two followers please copy and re-post this tweet? I’m trying to demonstrate that someone is always there, especially at this time of year. Call 116 123 (Samaritans UK). Just two. Any two. Copy, not retweet. Let’s all look out for each other.
As per @dsballantyne request, but updated with UK details, original request here: xitter.cf/dsballantyne/status/14…
Remembering the reason why I avoid using CWT - not one but two incorrect corp card charges for hotel bookings that were cancelled - and I just know that it’s going to be several wasted hours next week chasing it down :(
Great thread about about an important new AWS networking feature - More Specific Routing for Amazon VPCs:
In the first month I joined I was asked, 'How do I put a firewall between our subnets in AWS?'. What seemed like a simple ask turned into a real deep dive as I got into it. I'll talk about some history here, but first the announcement: aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/ins… 🧵 (1/n)
Who says email is old-school and needs replacing, when you get such helpful subject lines like this:
"RE: MP - RE: RE: MP - RE: MP - RE: MP - FW: URGENT - "
Tidying online accounts, and so have updated my Twitter username to mhjwork (without the “_”)… let’s see what breaks!
The cast are absolutely nailing the @playgoeswrong tonight at @TheatreRBath - amazing to see it live, highly recommended!!
The “protest” in Trafalgar Square on Saturday was a gross insult to common sense, rational thought and, most distressingly, everyone who has given their all working tirelessly on the front line over the past 18 months. Thank you, and #gotyourbackNHS
A plea: this account is run by frontline NHS staff. After the scenes today in Trafalgar Square our inbox is distressing. You don’t know how much it meant to all of us to see the tidal wave of support on the hashtag #gotyourbackNHS. If you support us please follow and RT 💙💙💙

If you're outraged by the Government's plans to 'enforce collective worship' in every school, please, sign our petition to replace compulsory collective worship in schools with inclusive assemblies instead. humanism.org.uk/what-you-can…
so, @easylifelmt - I’m hoping that the £70 charge you’ve just hit my widowed mum with isn’t you repeating this scam you’ve been called out about on before (google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thisi…)... I’m expecting a speedy response and refund when I call tomorrow.
#MischiefMovieNightIn who would have thought a game of catch would win the Internet tonight? :)
