There’s a real irony in Republicans hoping that the late mail votes in Mississippi will rescue Cindy Hyde-Smith — just months after the RNC sued to void Mississippi’s ability to count late-arriving votes and lost at SCOTUS, 5-4.

CNN: You voted against the war powers resolution to end the war. Malliotakis: I think the Iran war was a small part of this. I don’t think it was a real big piece of this. CNN: Exit polls are showing that about three quarters of people say it was a big deal for them.

The "diesel deal" theatre is over. The US is not getting Russian fuel. Instead, the tankers are going to regular Russian buyers such as Brazil. The good thing: This probably means that the US won't lift sanctions against Dmitriev's Russian Direct Investment Fund after all.
Russia is actually sending some diesel to the US. It doesn't make any commercial sense - it is a symbolic act, political support from Putin to Trump for the midterm elections. Of course, Dmitriev's Russia Direct Investment Fund is involved in arranging this theatre.

We need to thank @ZelenskyyUa for bombing those Russian data centers. Seriously, doing that helped the US elections immensely. You'll all find out in the future why that is. Volodymyr Zelenskyy restored US election integrity and democracy. Thank you Mr. Zelenskyy #Anonymous

BREAKING: MASTERMIND! Senator-elect Annie Andrews realized last month that she was going to beat Darline Graham thanks to internal polling — but she kept it secret. This was a brilliant chess move… According to a new report from Semafor, Andrews’s campaign polling revealed her to be the frontrunner with a 3-point lead on October 5, when most political commentators were still predicting a MAGA Graham victory. Andrews could have rushed to the public with the polling and used it to fundraise, but she knew that it would bring greater attention and funding for Graham from the national Republican Party. Chas Goldman, a strategist for Andrews, said the campaign was wary of peaking too early. So Andrews sat on the numbers and kept her nose to the grindstone. The result was one of election night’s most shocking upsets and most potent repudiations of the MAGA movement. Former Republican Gov. Mark Sandford referred to it as “a Waterloo moment for Trump.” “The fact that a state as red as South Carolina would go the other way on his hand-picked candidate?” he said. “This is a person who said: ‘Close your eyes and pretend you’re voting for me.’ OK, they did. They just didn’t like Darline as a candidate and felt it had been forced down their throats by Trump. And they’re like: ‘We’re not doing this.’” In hindsight, it makes total sense that voters would reject Darline Graham, a deeply incompetent, unqualified candidate whose sole claim to fame is that her evil warmongering brother served in the seat before his death. What exactly were Republicans running on? More war? Skyrocketing gas prices? Being pro-pedophile? The MAGA movement is dead and Annie Andrews helped carve the tombstone. The future looks bright! Please ❤️ and share to congratulate Senator-elect Annie Andrews!

I want back the trillions saved by DOGE and the trillions saved by tariffs and the trillions saved by stealing oil from Venezuela and the billions his children stole and then... I want his tax returns for the last ten years. But first every last piece of the Epstein files! Then I have some questions to ask. – at Edgewood, KY

“A peaceful, united Europe has become Russia’s enemy.” That was President Zelenskyy’s warning at the Berlin Security Conference. And the implications go far beyond Ukraine. No European country can defend its skies, energy infrastructure or critical systems alone. As drones, missiles and hybrid threats evolve, Europe needs more than national capabilities: it needs collective security, stronger alliances and shared responsibility. If the US turns inward, Europe will have to step up. And it cannot do so without Germany. Security is not a national privilege. It is a common European interest. SOURCE: ukurier.gov.ua

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky on Elon Musk: Having so much power concentrated in the hands of a very rich person is dangerous. Concentrating power in the hands of one person who doesn't have much money is also dangerous. That is the whole point of the separation of powers — making sure that everything is not concentrated in the hands of one person.

This is a pretty clear sign that the Democrats victories across the country had to do with the backlash to the Iran War and tariffs, not because the electorate wants “Woke 2.0” now.
Underrated election result in the blue wave: biological sex restrictions in schools are passing with very healthy margins.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky: We have bipartisan support, support from both parties. I am also grateful to the Republicans. But the Democrats speak very clearly about supporting Ukraine and providing assistance to Ukraine. They talk about restoring ties between the U.S. and Europe, which have been somewhat lost in recent years. And that is very important to us.

The White House has issued a statement affirming that the “radical left” will not succeed in reversing the achievements Trump has secured over the past two years. Specifically, it states that they will not be able to: ▪️ open the borders; ▪️ raise taxes; ▪️ weaken law enforcement agencies; ▪️ “flood” the country with immigrants; ▪️ return to a “green” energy agenda; ▪️ open the door to waste and fraud; ▪️ or undo numerous other accomplishments of the 47th President of the United States. And above all: The Democrats will not succeed in removing Trump from office through impeachment, because “the President will never stop fighting.”

BREAKING: Hakeem Jeffries dances on Mike Johnson’s political grave with the perfect trolling taunt after last night’s blue tsunami. It’s time to put these fascists in their place… “Mike Johnson was correct. The polls were wrong. It wasn’t simply a blue wave; it was an American tsunami!” Jeffries mocked at a press conference. Republicans like Johnson insisted right up to Election Day that the polls were wrong and that their party would overperform at the ballot box. Instead, we witnessed the greatest collapse of a political movement in modern history as MAGA crumbled and Democrats swept the night. Johnson has already signaled that he will not seek the role of House Minority Leader after Democrats take control of the chamber. In fact, he’s even floating the idea that he might retire from government and start a “lawn business.” He can’t possibly be any worse at that than he was at being Speaker. “The American people have chosen the economy over extremism,” said Jeffries, who is the frontrunner for the gavel. “The American people have chosen House Democrats because they want to see a dramatic change in direction, and that’s exactly what House Democrats will deliver on Day One.” He vowed that Democrats will use their mandate to tackle the issues that Americans most care about: solving the affordability crisis, expanding ObamaCare subsidies, reversing MAGA cuts to Medicaid, cutting of Trump’s tariffs, and ending the disastrous war with Iran. “Democrats promised a new path forward, and last night, the voters delivered a mandate for it,” said Jeffries. Now that the sun is setting on Johnson’s reign, let’s briefly enumerate his “accomplishments.” He rubber-stamped a pointless war that skyrocketed gas prices, oversaw the coverup of the Epstein files, and handed Texas to Democrats. He will go down as one of the most spineless, ineffective Speakers in American history. Please ❤️ and share to wish Johnson good riddance!
