Today is International Nurses Day– a day to celebrate and acknowledge the work of our wonderful team of nurses who are embedded within our outreach teams
During the last FY our Integrated Healthcare team provided 6,702 occasions of direct clinical nursing care to 954 people. 1/3
The integration of nurses into our Teams is informed by a housing first approach that recognises a broad range of social factors impact upon people’s health. To achieve outcomes for vulnerable people exp. homelessness, housing and social support services are delivered. 2/3
Thank-you to all nurses here at Micah, and across Australia who deliver exceptional care and empathy to those in need. 3/3 #nursesday2021

A big thank-you to @jessradio for stopping by and having a chat with our team about coercive control and the work that is being done to protect women and children.
Our Team was so excited to meet Jess and discuss the impact coercive control has on the women we support.
If anyone has any doubt as to why women don't have any faith in the justice system.....
