One of my kids vibe coded a UI layer for Windows that hides Windows UX, and creates a more game-like interface, that he can control via mouse, keyboard, or wireless game controller. It is insanely comprehensive and extremely well designed. And it actually works. Wild times.
Back around 2000 (year the kid was born) I was working with Sony Research labs on a game controller interface we called "surfspace". It leveraged Playstation chip for real-time 3D and compositing. Very cool project I spent a year on with a crack team of 7 people. We created some cool demos to show at NAB in Vegas in private VIP booths. My kid made something a bit similar but far more comprehensive, that is real code and he uses it for real life, in less than a month of his free time.
Well, we sent out assignment notices today that all our customers will be Datalogics customers as of Nov 01. For the cash. Onward and upward with Homestead now.
I've no beef with people who want to moonshot billions but I prefer to create a few million in value and exit and go on to the next thing. I don't need a Bugati or a New Zealand compound. I just wan to create stuff and have fun and take a nice vacation each year.

Just what an incredible fall from grace…
From innovative, eco-conscious, cool nerd…
To depraved, entitled, evil, war-mongering, self-radicalised fuckwit.
As a side project I've been working with Claude on designing a modern Willy's Jeep. The idea is cheap, flat pack, assembled on site. Electric. Some drone defenses. Designed for post-conflict areas (not active major power war zones). Interactive design here: claude.ai/artifact/EJwHsvqQ2…

Hey folks, it’s only a matter of time before he’s gonna talk about sucking a big fat cock. Stay tuned.

Casino Royale has declared full-on INFLATION LIBERATION on the Vegas Strip.
Busch Light is $1, there's no resort fee, the parking is free, and the sliders are just $3.99.
The rest of the Strip has not been informed.
One thing I don't think most people recognize yet, is the impact of chatbots on children. They will be alien to us in 20 years and we to them.
Someone should make an E version of a Willys Jeep. Super simple. Packs flat. Rugged. No nonsense. Cheap. Billion dollar biz.
