My partner Graham died 9 yrs ago of a soft tissue sarcoma & I really struggled to find the help I needed,
In 2016 I started @goodgrieftrust to bring services together & help the bereaved find the support they need from DAY ONE.
Heading into our 8th year on 2nd Sep! #proud

Our #SitwithHope campaign was inspired by these scenes in #Afterlife on a bench with @rickygervais & our Patron Dame Penelope Wilton.
Both Ann & Tony are grieving the loss of their partners & form a strong connection through their grief.
Our #HelpandHope plaques on benches across the UK will signpost the bereaved to a choice of support wherever they live.
Pls order your plaques here: ☂️🧡thegoodgrieftrust.org/need-k…

England has the only privatised Water in Europe and the most water pollution and most expensive water.
The UK has the only fully privatised energy, and the most expensive:
The UK has privatised rail, the slowest, least reliable and of course most expensive in Europe.

Incredibly proud of my multi-talented wife @annacookson, whose second novel Dancing Out Of Love has just been published. Clearly I'm biased, but it's sensationally well written and observed with a great premise... and lots of flamenco 🕺💃 pegasuspublishers.com/books/…

It really is something when the govt receive a petition for a Brexit Inquiry from >170k citizens, has parliamentary support for it, have their own analyses showing harm of Brexit, have workable solutions for harm reduction, and then they just turn round and say “Nah”.
