Damn, I didn't realize that people had noticed! In my defence, those powers do have an excellent dental plan.

Coren communicates the faith as divorced from real life in a way that leaves anyone who believes it vulnerable to abuse. God doesnt want you castrated. He wants you fully engaged fighting the Powers that seek to remake God in their own image. Coren is a soldier for those powers

You will be found in a great flame after you have taken your last breath. Because ONLY the one true God is REVEREND !!! [Psalm 111:9 KJV] 9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.

New fridge magnets for the grandchildren. I was forming the alphabet but forgot a letter. My wife found this very amusing and took a photograph.

I may have doubts about Russell Brand's conversion but not for me to judge. I can say that his Christianity seems highly performative and that's never a good sign. Also, new faith demands contrition for past wrongs. Not seen that. bbc.com/news/articles/c3qjn4…

I've loved CS Lewis since I was five, wrote a book about him, was close to his last secretary Walter Hooper, and his Christianity has shaped my life. I know there are people opposed to this movie but I think it looks incredible! nextbestpicture.com/trailer-…

I think I was "tapped on the shoulder" at university by a professor who worked for the security services. My wife says, "In that you could hardly even keep the kids' Christmas presents secret I doubt you'd have made a good spy." Perhaps a very slow horse?

The most anti-@X post I could think of for this Sunday: There are countless good and kind people doing countless good and kinds things and the world is actually rather lovely. Be happy, honest, and understanding. Thank you.

Our grandson's first day at school. It was like having one's nerves and feelings on the outside of the body. Thank God for caring teachers and loving parents.
