AMD $AMD JUST GUIDED TO $17.0B IN Q4 REVENUE, WELL ABOVE THE $16.2B WALL STREET EXPECTED
That's +66% from a year ago and a +27% jump from Q3 in a single quarter.
It also lands exactly on the number Jefferies was modeling heading into tonight, the high end of the range on the Street.
AMD said it expects "growth to accelerate further in the fourth quarter as we scale Helios and 'Venice' production." Helios is its new AI server rack, and Venice is its next-generation EPYC server chip.
The one give-back is margins. AMD guided Q4 adjusted gross margin to about 55%, down from 56% in Q3, as lower-margin AI racks become a bigger part of sales.
This is AMD's 9th straight quarter beating revenue estimates.

JUST IN: AMD $AMD and Super Micro $SMCI just added over $50 BILLION in market value after hours.
AMD posted RECORD Q3 sales of $13.4 BILLION and now expects about $17 BILLION next quarter, up 66% from a year ago.
Super Micro made $19.9 BILLION in ONE quarter, almost its ENTIRE $20.6 BILLION market value.
$AMD jumped as much as 7% after hours, and $SMCI as much as 8.6%.

AMD's data center business now makes up 64% of the company up from 28% in 2023
$AMD's data center business just grew last quarter by 97% YoY
DATA CENTER IS NOW 64% OF AMD'S $AMD REVENUE
Last quarter it was 58%. Three years ago it was about 28%.
Data center revenue hit a record $8.55B in Q3, up +97% from $4.34B a year ago and +27% from last quarter alone.
AMD said the growth came from strong demand for its EPYC server chips and the launch of its MI450 AI GPUs.
It's also where the profit is coming from. Data center operating income was $2.88B, up +168% from $1.07B a year ago, at a 34% operating margin.
Through the first 9 months of 2026, data center has brought in $21.0B, almost double the $11.3B it did over the same stretch last year.

AMD will go down 10-20% on earnings.
That is what many people are saying. People are saying that because it seems almost all Big tech stocks have gone down on their earnings thus far.
What do I personally think will happen? I think the stock will go up 5% minimum and if things are really good then a low double digit move is coming.
Why do I think this? Stock has been extremely weak coming into today. It was down 25%+ just the past few weeks. Priced in a lot of bad news. Meanwhile the earnings should be nothing but good news. People also assume since Intel did bad that AMD will do bad… these two stocks are NOT the same.
With that being said if the stock goes down short term.. that is perfectly fine. AMD is on a path to $1,000+ LT
