The distinction between “results” and “result” becomes clearer when you follow the constitutional and regulatory architecture from Form 34A to Form 34B and finally Form 34C.
Form 34A captures the presidential results at the polling station, where the votes are counted and recorded by the Presiding Officer. Those results do not disappear into some national statistical black hole. They move to the constituency, where the Constituency Returning Officer collates the results from the polling stations within that constituency and records them in Form 34B. At that point, we are dealing with the constituency results: the presidential figures for each of Kenya’s 290 constituencies.
The 290 constituency results then become the foundation of the national aggregation. Form 34C brings those constituency figures together at the national level and provides the basis upon which the result of the presidential election is established and declared by the IEBC Chairperson.
This is where the language of Article 138 becomes significant. The Constitution speaks of “results” in the plural and “result” in the singular. The plural refers to the results generated through the electoral process; the singular refers to the ultimate national presidential result. It is therefore not necessary to invent a second counting exercise at the national tallying centre. The votes have already been counted at the polling stations, the results have been collated and declared at constituency level, and the national task is to aggregate and verify those 290 constituency results before the Chairperson declares the national result.
In simple terms: Form 34A gives you polling-station results. Form 34B gives you constituency results. Form 34C gives you the national result.
That is the logical movement of the presidential vote: from polling station, to constituency, to national result. The national tallying centre should therefore be a place of transparent aggregation and verification not a second theatre for altering constituency-declared results.

Awino left Kenya to Saudi Arabia to work as a househelp, hoping to earn a living and build a better life for herself and her family.
Instead, she became a victim of sexual violence inside the very home where she worked.
She reported the rape to the father of the man accused of assaulting her. He reportedly shared the matter with his wife.
Five days later, she was found dead.
Her body had been dumped in the desert, with three gunshot wounds.
Think about that for a moment.
A Kenyan woman left home alive. She had a family. People who loved her. Dreams. Plans. A reason to wake up every morning.
She went to Saudi Arabia to work, not to die.
She went there with her hands ready to wash clothes and earn an honest living. She came back to Kenya in a coffin.
This is not merely a story about a migrant worker who died abroad.
It is a devastating reminder of how vulnerable Kenyan domestic workers can become when they are far from home, isolated and dependent on people with power over them.
She deserved protection.
She deserved justice.
She deserved to come home alive.
How many more Kenyan women must suffer in silence before we treat the safety of our migrant workers as a national emergency?
Our women are not disposable labour.
Their lives matter.
And this woman's family has the burden of bringing her body home for burial. – at Ruiru, Kenya

I always want to put the torture I and @bonifacemwangi were subjected to in Tanzania behind me but yesterday and today have refused. A year later, we are yet to recover from it. I still have to wear shoes prescribed by doctors fitted with feet pads. In March the pain was so bad and I was given cortisone shots in between the toes. They numbed the pain for a few weeks and we went back to zero. When I say I the fall of terrible people who abuse power and don’t care about the pain their actions cause to other people should be celebrated, I think of Mafwele, the police officer that looked into our eyes and told us he’s will deal with us and we will forever remember his face. When people asked about our whereabouts the following day, he told them he will do whatever he wants to us and there is nothing anyone will do. What he did didn’t stop us from demanding for the respect of human rights and dignity. Even the killing of Tanzanians by him and that murderous regime of Samia Suluhu hasn’t stopped the rest from agitating for better governance. And his day will also come. Even if I am not here when it comes, others that he has caused immense suffering will celebrate. And that’s the legacy he, and other corrupt, murderous leaders and civil servants will leave behind.

Being nice cost nothing but also being mean doesn't cost a thing. Handle people the way they handle you, that's life. But most importantly, kill the nice guy inside you. Life doesn’t care about your kindness.
