[NEWS] #BTS concluded their ARIRANG World Tour in South America drawing a total of 853,000 attendees! 🚨 After concluding their performance, BTS shared their thoughts, stating, "South America was one of the itineraries we were most looking forward to. We were excited even before we came, but you are amazing." They added, "We are deeply moved. We have gained one of the happiest memories of our lives, and we will cherish it." This tour held added significance as it marked their first full-group performances in Colombia and Argentina, as well as their first visit to Peru. It also marked a reunion with Chile and Brazil after nine and seven years, respectively. Local media coverage continued. Peru's El Comercio highlighted the Lima concert as a special experience, while Argentina's La Nación introduced BTS as a "global phenomenon." Brazil's Bandwagon described the concert as a "love letter to Brazilian fans." The event also had a positive impact on the economic revitalization of the host cities. At the La Plata concert in Buenos Aires, 96% of the audience were visitors from outside the region, with over 130,000 people visiting the area for the first time. Their spending on accommodation, food and beverages, and transportation was estimated at approximately 53 billion Argentine pesos (about 46 billion KRW). Flight bookings in Bogota, Colombia increased by 46.6% compared to the same period last year, ride requests in Lima, Peru increased by up to 48 times, and accommodation searches in Santiago, Chile increased by approximately 200%.
