Her video said he was “giving his speech in Arabic” and the Free Press tweet said he “gave his speech in Arabic.”
He *used* 4 Arabic words total.
Her words and the tweet were dishonest.
I’m beginning to think the FP is not to be trusted on any topic concerning Muslims. 🤷♂️
Just a tweet to say that @SulkinMaya is a wonderful colleague and a superb young journalist. And the recent Twitter pile on will not deter her one iota. Than you for your attention to this matter.

I’m afraid I cannot countenance such nonsense. The em-dash’s length is an exquisite reflection of its function.
Replying to @yunta_tsai
(The rules of English need to change to put spaces between the em dashes, as they presently too much resemble a hyphenated word, rather than a parenthetical phrase. Also, “—“ is an unpleasantly long a line. The en dash, “–“, is a better length.)

My main advice to the right tonight is to keep talking like this. It's working really well, everybody loves it, and no one is tired of it. You could keep at it for another decade even.

Tonight is likely to be a rejection of @MikeRogersForMI. All my tweeting aside, I’ve known Mike & Kristi for 30+ years, I know how much it will hurt to lose. If that happens, I hope they accept this in the spirit in which this is offered: You deserve to be miserable after the appalling bigotry you’ve spread like napalm. Go away.

Jerusalem District Court (unsurprisingly) sided with the terrorists.
Yesterday we submitted an appeal against my 2-month ban from the West Bank after being attacked by a settler. Israeli judge Elad Persky (pictured below) rejected the appeal, siding with the terrorist Tomer Liani.
One more reminder that settler terror is state terror in the West Bank. It is supported and facilitated at the highest levels, by the IDF, the police, the courts, and the government itself.

What exactly is he going to do to your daughter, specifically?
This rhetoric sounds almost exactly like what Jim Crow whites said about African Americans.
I hope your daughter doesn’t absorb your paranoid racism.

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Sex work isn't glamorous or tragic. It's work. Sex isn’t inherently dangerous.
The danger in sex work comes from stigma and the impacts of criminalization (and the Nordic model), not the work itself.
Sex workers don't need saving.
They need rights.

I’m one of the most Jewish Democrats you will meet. I lived in Israel, have family there, made 2 films about their baseball team. I would never vote for any candidate swearing fealty to Donald Trump. Not for the House, not for the Senate, not for local dog catcher. Time for all Americans to stop enabling his power grab. No exceptions. Now for the backlash. But I don’t care. Stopping Trump is the mission. I’m locked in. Blue wave means blue wave.

Breaking my own rule and writing a Twitter essay...
Two days before the midterms, Haley Stevens, the beneficiary of AIPAC’s record-setting $30 million in her primary, appeared with Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers at Perfecting Church in Detroit where she claimed that Rogers would “take on” investing in Black-owned businesses. She then endorsed him.
This attempted ratfuck is galling for any number of reasons, but what disgusts me most is the willingness of these genocidal white politicians to use Black voters as human shields for their racism against Abdul El-Sayed. Rogers has run one of the most racist Senate campaigns this century, and yet, Stevens is now climbing aboard while ostensibly professing concern for Black voters.
This is an instructive moment in understanding why Zionists must be purged from the party: as believers in a supremacist project themselves, they view Black voters as a faction to be weaponized, not as constituents who deserve genuine representation. They are saboteurs in the broader fight for racial justice. A belief in an ethnostate sustained through apartheid, force, genocide, and domination is fundamentally incompatible with an anti-fascist, anti-racist coalition.
Good luck browbeating the Democratic electorate into supporting some pro-Israel corporate centrist in the 2028 presidential election after this saga.

NYT: Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said that Haley Stevens had told him in a phone call about 10 p.m. last night that she was still behind Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. Raskin said that he had pressed Stevens.
“I just want to be very clear about that: You’re supporting the whole ticket, including Abdul?” he said he had asked her. “And she said yes.”

I think @MalloryMcMorrow has been the breakout star of the Michigan general election campaign, and set the standard for how defeated candidates put broader interests ahead of their own - the exact opposite of Haley Stevens, and I say that as someone who didn’t agree with everything she said during the primary! But I do remember interviewing her in 2022 on MSNBC after her viral floor speech and thinking she would be a star.
