Totaal absurd. Geen deepfake. We worden geregeerd door clowns.

This is one of the most telling charts about Europe. The chart shows the geographical breakdown of sales at ASML, Europe’s most valuable company by market capitalization. And as the chart painfully makes clear, ASML sells none of its state-of-the-art chipmaking machines in Europe. Think about that. While the AI revolution is reshaping the entire world, a Dutch company based in the heart of Europe has no customers on its own continent. What I would like to ask European policymakers, including Ursula von der Leyen, is what they make of this. And whether they recognize that Europe is missing out on the AI revolution precisely because of their own policies. Could it be that while Europe has been preoccupied with self-inflicted energy insecurity, unrealistic climate targets, bureaucracy, and overregulation, other parts of the world have gone all-in on far more tangible and realistic goals: energy independence and technological leadership? And whatever happened to all those “inspiring” promises to slash the massive regulatory burden, enable European companies to compete on the global stage, and put Europe back in the race for technological supremacy? In the words of former ECB President Mario Draghi: “You can’t say no to everything. So when you ask me what is best to do now, I say I have no idea, but do something.” Well, Ursula, what have you done? Certainly not helped Europe buy the machines made by its greatest technology company. That’s for sure!

Two years after Israelis were hunted through the streets of Amsterdam, the Dutch answer is to ban the victims, not the attackers. Alkmaar’s exclusion of Hapoel Be’er Sheva fans rewards those who threaten and incite violence and runs counter to the very spirit of sport. This exclusion of Israelis comes amid a wave of antisemitic attacks in the Netherlands, fuelled by anti-Israel incitement from Dutch politicians and public figures. Banning Israeli fans from attending the match, like boycotting Eurovision, is yet another stain on the Netherlands, as the country increasingly becomes one of the world’s leading hotspots for antisemitism.

Sorry, I don’t make the rules.

D66 is levensgevaarlijk.
Does Hanneke van der Werf (D66) call for a direct war with Russia? Does she realize the fatal consequences for the Netherlands?

Consider how carefully Mamdani wrote his post about 9/11. He chose ‘died’ instead of ‘murdered’ and the particular phraseology of the post because he must have been concerned about offending his base. There is no other credible explanation. Think about that. Who is the base that he is concerned about offending? What New Yorkers would be offended to calling out the terrorists and terrorism of 9/11? Concerning.
Note no mention of how they died and who was responsible. No mention that they were innocent civilians starting their work day and first responders who went to save them. No mention of the highjacking of the airplanes that were flown into the World Trade Center. No mention of murder or terrorism or who was responsible. Just a benign statement that a few thousand people died that day. He seems to imply they died of natural causes. Now can you understand why the families don’t want @NYCMayor Mamdani at the 9/11 memorial?

One giant leap for mankind History was made on July 20, 1969, when Apollo 11's Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first to set foot on the Moon. For more than 5 decades, the total number of moonwalkers has remained at 12. NASA will change that with Artemis IV.

Funny how some drivers suddenly act shocked by the shitty 2026 regulations, as if nobody warned them. Max Verstappen warned everyone in 2023 that the 2026 regs would be a disaster. Nobody cared back then. When he took on the FIA, F1 and FOM at the beginning of this season, almost every other driver stayed silent. Apart from Alonso and Checo, he was left fighting alone. Max was told to stop complaining. Drivers get paid a lot of money. Retire if you do not like it. The cars are “fun to drive”. Now, halfway through the season, they are all suddenly discovering the same problems Max has been talking about for years. Except Max did more than complain. He kept pushing, and now we are getting changes for 2027/28, followed by V8 engines and smaller, lighter cars in 2030/31. Max was right from the start.
