Not that there is anything wrong with that…
Trump on Senator Jon Husted: When he stood up, I looked at him; I looked at him all over the place. I started by looking at his ass, and it was strong as hell

Trump: "If I didn't win the presidency, this country would be gone. I really believe it."

Sure. Release all the files, Hero.
Trump: Jeffrey Epstein was a Democrat. I threw him the hell out of Mar-a-Lago. I was totally exonerated.

The closing argument is pro-war? Wow.
Trump: "When you say the last 7 months you've produced more oil, more everything, you've made more money than you have ever made. You know why? What happened 7 months ago? The war. Now, when I say it, they said, 'Oooooh, that's so terrible.' We're making an absolute fortune."

Oh good grief. I’m sure the President will support him.
JUST IN: Flavio Bolsonaro declares himself the President of Brazil and says he will rule the country from Miami

We know. They aren’t. Tell the truth.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Ukraine: "We don’t know whether the Russians are serious about ending the war." FC: Russia attacks Ukraine daily.

A tariff is a tax. China or Canada doesn’t pay it. Farmers, American manufacturers, and families at the checkout counter pay it. I oppose blanket tariffs and support free, fair trade that benefits every American.

Working on a new long read about the multi-level variance in public opinion and political behaviour. Out next week. Here’s a clip: “At the federal level, a government entering its twelfth year is more popular than at almost any point since its first year in office. At the provincial and municipal levels, governments with much shorter records are facing substantial dissatisfaction. I think the explanation is that Canadians are living through two different political experiences at the same time. Nationally, they are looking for protection from an unpredictable world, particularly the threat posed by Donald Trump and the United States. Provincially and locally, they are judging governments on whether their lives are becoming easier or harder. The federal government is being evaluated primarily as a protector. Provincial and municipal governments are being evaluated as providers.”

Check out this corporate PR disaster. The Cleveland-Cliffs CEO admits on CBC that he bought Stelco to stop the Canadian company from selling into the U.S. market. The Liberals under Justin Trudeau allowed Cleveland-Cliffs, a foreign company, to buy Canada’s largest steel company. This is what happens when you permit the foreign takeover of critical Canadian industries.

Surely impossible as the US doesn’t interfere in foreign elections. 🙄
A Brazilian Supreme Court justice ordered a police investigation into alleged ties between a donor network co-founded by Vice President JD Vance and the presidential campaign of Flávio Bolsonaro in the run-up to Sunday’s election. wapo.st/4ir5DEM

It’s incredible that he can continue to spread the same lies and his followers either believe him or don’t care. China has a massive number of windmills and wind farms. It’s easy to fact-check. Maybe Benny and the Nicks can do that for us.
Trump: All you have to do is say to China, how many windmill areas do you have in China? They are not able to find any. They don’t have windmills. I have told my people, we will not approve windmills. @Acyn (2026) FC: False.

The degree to which the White House is overtly pro-Russia is staggering. Those Republicans who let it happen will one day have to account for their fecklessness and fealty.
NEW: The Trump administration is considering lifting sanctions on Russia’s flagship government investment fund, a powerful tool of Kremlin influence, a U.S. official said, as part of efforts to “improve U.S.-Russia relations and help end the war.” The official also praised the fund’s chief, Kirill Dmitriev, as “a helpful envoy” in negotiations to end the war—NYT

The popular term is “rigged”.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party claims the election was “stolen” by Arab parties and is calling on police to investigate alleged voter fraud. With 93% of the vote counted, Netanyahu’s bloc has 53 seats, well short of the 61 needed to form a government, down from the 68 seats his coalition held before the election. Arab parties have nearly doubled their representation, jumping from 10 seats to 19.
