It was a real joy to be back on campus at @Milligan_Univ last weekend for my 30th college reunion at Homecoming. Was great seeing so many friends and recalling our days on campus. I even survived the Student vs. Alumni flag football game. Here’s to the Class of 1996. Go Buffs!
It wasn’t right on the number, but thanks @Ford for a fantastic ride in my @ford_machE that now has eclipsed 170,000 miles. This 2021 has to be at the top of the private-owned list for mileage and I’ve loved its reliability and cost efficiency. I’m sold on EVs from now on. #ProudFordMachEowner
Got to spend my birthday weekend “geeking out” with my two favorite girls at Raleigh’s GalaxyCon. Keagan and Raina were so excited to meet Hayden Christensen and Ralph Macchio (he was impressed they were both blackbelts) and we got many a photo with fantastic cosplayers. #GalaxyConRaleigh
I was “this many” days old when I realized I share a birthday with my @Canes main man @Martyman17. Let’s go! #BunchofJerks #2026CupChamps
So first thing we did when Jackson got to town today? Of course, go take a photo with the 16 victory flags in front of Lenovo Center. Let’s go @Canes! Stanley Cup champions!
No words … just so happy for the @Canes and the Triangle. Time to Storm Surge in Vegas! What a wonderful Bunch of Jerks. #CauseChaos
It was an honor to talk about our @GuilfordCollege Sport Studies department — as well as the innovative experiential learning and teaching approaches we use in our Masters of International Sport Management (MISM) program — at the 40th annual @NASSM conference this week in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A huge thank you for the support of the Guilford College community in making this possible. #UniquelyGuilford
So yeah, got home last night from our @GuilfordCollege study abroad. Was in the house for a grand total of about eight hours. Quick laundry stop and off again. This time to talk about our program at the North American Society of Sport Management (NASSM) annual conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. #uniquelyguilford
Hey @ThatKevinSmith, found our guy just around the corner from the Milan Duomo! #buddychrist
Nine years separate these two photos from the Monte Carlo Country Club. In the first, I’m the student. In the second, I’m still learning … but now have my own @GuilfordCollege students along for the ride. What a crazy, blessed life. #guilfordspstabroad2026
Talk about worlds colliding! Our @GuilfordCollege sport management program and its study abroad/masters degree components don’t exist without the impact of the @etsu Global Sport Leadership program and its faculty @docsander30, @Johnstob and @AdamLSayers, who all live influenced my life so much. Having the chance to share dinner with them in Nice, France alongside my current department chair Craig Eilbacher and fellow faculty @MikeDeGeorge and Guilford alum John Crane was surreal. Also, thanks to our two groups’ guides Arno and Sjoerd Langevoort for getting us here safely.
Days 6 & 7 included an early bus transfer to Nice on Wednesday morning for our @GuilfordCollege students, followed by a visit to OGC Nice’s professional and development facility and free time for exploring Nice later in the day. Thursday was an adventure to Monaco’s Monte Carlo, lectures at the UIPM federation for pentathlon and the Monte Carlo Country Club, and walking the streets of the Monaco Grand Prix, which will be raced on June 7. #guilfordspstabroad2026
I mean … on Easter weekend we get to see this view of what God made thanks to Artemis? Just no words.
Let’s just say this good girl, Rina, stole the show today at the NCAA pre-tournament media availability in Cameron.
