Losing Herb would be like a shotgun blast to the chest but our coach doesn’t want to play our first team all defense player lol
Interesting 🤨 WDSU video from Pelicans practice Monday, Oct. 26 NOLA Executive Vice President Joe Dumars and forward Herb Jones after the workout. Herb is not starting or closing games and through the first three games (0-3) he's averaging a career low 17 minutes per game.

Mat Ishbia on why he offers free TV broadcasts and $2 food menus while other owners prioritize profits: “I don’t own the team, it’s the City of Phoenix’s team... Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Somebody please explain it to me like I’m dumb. Here is a side-by-side of Tyler Shough’s play against the Raiders today and Jared Goff’s from Week 1. Saints lost a td from Goff’s mistake. Today, ref says Shough fumbled and Raiders recovered. Make it make sense! @NFLOfficiating

I just had an official tell me I didn’t really see what I saw. Saints just got robbed of a defensive score. Absolutely insane.

More courtroom information from @WAFB our news director: Tony Clayton is hammering SEC commissioner Greg Sankey and his attorney, Jason Williams, keeps objecting - and nearly always getting overruled . after the latest such time - Clayton said “ as my grandma used to say - ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun! “ the judge ordered that comment to be struck from the record. #LSU @LSUfootball

“For generations, Americans looked west when they thought about opportunity. Today, they should look south. Louisiana has always powered America. We fueled the nation with energy, fed it through our farms and ports, built ships that defended it, and manufactured the products that helped it grow. Now, we are helping lead America’s next frontier: space.” Read more here: foxnews.com/opinion/gov-jeff…

.@Meta is setting the standard. Now the rest of the industry needs to step up. Kids don’t stay on one platform. TikTok, YouTube, and every major platform should follow Meta’s lead. #lalege
This settlement is a monumental victory for the protection of America’s children and will fundamentally transform how the entire social media industry designs products for kids and teens.

Hi Allie Beth, Spanish & French Catholics were critical allies in winning the Revolution. AND not all the signers of the Declaration of Independence were Protestant. Have you not heard of Charles Carroll, a proud Catholic from Maryland??? His name is just beneath John Hancock. Charles Carroll was actually the wealthiest (by a lot!) all those who signed the Declaration of Independence and therefore risked losing the most, financially speaking. Since his name was fairly common, he made sure to sign his name “Charles Carroll of Carrollton”so that the British Crown would know exactly who he was and hang the right Charles Carroll should he be tried for treason. He was willing to put it all on the line for freedom. Despite being wealthy, he still endured religious persecution and suspicion in the colonies as a Catholic, yet he courageously joined the cause for independence. Sadly, his story is not in our children’s history books because of a long history of Protestant bias. It’s also not the only story of Catholic bravery in our glorious revolution. There are Spaniards (General Bernardo de Galvez, Governor of Louisiana) and of course the French (General Lafayette fought in the battle of Yorktown) all Catholics, who helped, and without their help, the Americans would not have won. There is also the story of Catholic Native Americans in Maine. George Washington wrote a letter to their chief asking for their help fighting the British. Their help as warriors, scouts & guides proved critical in the defeat of the Red Coats in the final days. Washington knew that these natives detested the British because they had banned them from practicing Catholicism and murdered the beloved Catholic missionary monks (the black robes, as they called them) who lived among them. The Passamoquadday only agreed to help if, among other promises, George Washington brought them Black Robes to live with them so the tribe could have Mass & holy Eucharist and continue practicing their faith. George Washington sent word to French ships off our coast who were helping us and missionary priest were brought to Maine in exchange for this critical assistance by the Passamoquadday tribe. I hope this helps. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The term "Judeo-Christian" has sparked a lot of debate on the right lately. When people talk about America's "Judeo-Christian values," they're not claiming the Founding Fathers were Jewish. They're referring to the shared biblical worldview that has shaped the West: that we're made in the image of God, that our rights come from our Creator—not the government—and that every human being has inherent dignity. And the truth is, Jesus was a Jew, and His Jewish identity is a key part in the history of Christianity.
