Thank god it's @aleaguemen season.
Real sport. Real technique. 😍
He has actually just slapped it.
I have so many questions....
Why is the doctor wearing aviators...😎 😫
Why hasn't the referee stopped play if he is deemed to be concussed...
How was he not sent off....
Why is this the best league in the world....
All valid questions.
Can anyone shed (lol) some more light on this? Any Perth fans wanna tell us what’s going on with this lot?
Once again
The same group of troublemakers causing chaos and mobbing random people
@PerthGloryFC its time you do something about it. People have had enough.
This went from 'hard while watching' to a 'hard watch' in a matter of seconds 😆
Celebration makes me squirm....
Brazilians are a different breed.
Electric stuff at Spencer Park. ⚡️⚽️
Maja Markovski hits the cleanest "SIIIIUUUUUU"
The crowd responds right back. 😮💨
2 Things. 👀 👇🏻
Firstly, they put the away section in the play-by-play camera view! Yes. 🙌🏼
As opposed to last season putting them up in the gods.
Secondly, this should always be a blue v yellow match. Not this white nonsense that Wellington are wearing. 🤦🏻♂️
In such a good mood because I can watch all 3 @aleaguemen games today.
Starting off with the NZ Derby 😍
Rumours of a big crowd for the Perth game later as well.....
Best league in the world.
Happy Saturday 😊
I interrupt your Thursday to bring you this Sergio Van Dijk screamer from 2011.
One of my favourite goals in the leagues history.
The goal. The away end. The contrast in colours (Red/Navy Blue). Original Rivalry. 😮💨
Do most of these Persib fans follow the results of their league week in week out or is it more of a ‘support your country’ type thing? #MVCvSIB
Another BIG shoutout to 'The Den' in Brisbane. 🦁
Because Brisbane play in such a big stadium with a big tiered lower section, I don't think people quite realise how big the den is!
They have been through and continue to go through some dark times...
But, you can never take moments like this away from them....
This league, these clubs and these supporters still bring so much life to the league.
People are quick to forget when they start slagging the support off.....
Some of my best footballing memories have happened in this stadium and in section 332.
Hopefully many many more lifetimes of memories to be made... 🧡
I don't think we give The Shed End the credit it deserves.
Through thick and thin, they've travelled thousands of kilometres to support their club since the 90s.
A lot gets made of the RBB, North Terrace and The Cove.
But for me, 'The Shed' are among the most loyal supporters in the country. 💜
I've said it before, they are sitting on something massive in Perth. We saw it in the NSL and glimpses of it in the @aleaguemen.
Two changes that I would make to the @aleaguemen if I was in charge.
1. The home team always attack towards their home end in the second half. (Works for away teams attacking their away end as well)
2. Would make sure the away section is always in view of the main play-by-play camera.
Just two simple ideas to enhance optics.
We all love limbs.
Usually the most important goals happen late in a game, it would be great to see the optics of the limbs on camera.
Thoughts? 🤷🏻♂️👀
Decision making in the final third has been, how they say.... wank. #MACvWSW
There has been a lot of publicity around the Macarthur v WSW match….
Mostly negative because of how the fans are being treated.
However, I have seen more tweets/ads/promos for this match than I have seen for a regular fixture in quite a while!
Looking forward to it!
Bring on Saturday Night at the Bullpen
(I just love this stadium and I have no idea why 😂)
This left back is having the worst luck 😂😂😂
Shichi gives away his SECOND penalty of the game and Newcastle are going to the spot AGAIN! 🤯
Watch the #ACLElite live and exclusive on Paramount+ 📺
As a country we have never had a player finish in the top 20 of the Ballon d'Or voting.
Our 2 highest finishes have been:
- Harry Kewell (28th) 2001 ⚪️🟡
- Tim Cahill (27th) 2006 🔵⚪️
In your opinion, are there any current Australian players who have the potential to finish in the top 20 in the future? 🇦🇺 👀
